Dear Friends, this is the first time that I make a "call to action" kind of thing, but I think it's for a very good cause and I'm sure that we as a community can really make a difference.
Fellow artist and producer Dark Desire (who many of you already know and love) and his family are currently struggling with the costs of the memorial of his beloved mother, who always suffered from heavy health issues, and they started a Gofundme page to help them afford the expenses needed in these painful situations. I can only imagine the pain they are feeling right now, but I think that we as a community of producers, artists and music lovers could show some love to them and make a small (but big) difference donating some money to their cause, trying also to give back some of the positive vibes we received from Dark Desire's musical and cultural work during the years.
There is 1000$ to be donated at the moment to reach the asked amount for the fundraising, and knowing that on bandcamp I have almost 5000 followers, and more than 20k on YouTube, this means that we can definitely help Dark Desire and his family reach the objective, and also that if we donate more we can help them all go through this difficult moment in an easier way.
Lastly, from a producer point of view, I know that moments like this can alter, if not even stop, someone's art and career, so I think that our donations could also be an artistic giveback and a professional help in a situation like this, and again I cannot but empathize and send all my love and support to Dark Desire and his family.
If you are a fan like me, you can also donate through his bandcamp putting more than 1$ in the "full discography" option, and you will obtain all his beautiful catalog in your collection in just one click.
P.S.: It is my initiative to share this link, Dark Desire was so discreet and humble to not post this fundraising everywhere around socials, but when I just discovered it a couple of days ago through discord servers I thought that sharing it myself could maybe do some good, so I asked him before doing these posts too.
