At Newton Abbot Rugby Club, rugby isn’t just a game – it’s a way of life.

Founded in 1873, Newton Abbot Rugby Club is one of the oldest rugby clubs in Devon. More than a century later, we remain dedicated to celebrating the spirit of the South West and meeting the diverse needs of our local community.

Our club has been built on the core values that make rugby an enduring and popular sport for people all over the world – community, integrity, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.

Today, Newton Abbot Rugby Club boasts two senior men’s teams, a league-winning women’s team and a thriving junior section. We also regularly host community events on top of our sporting events and matches, where guests and players alike can enjoy the various facilities our club has to offer including a large events marquee and BBQ facilities.
