Hello my friends. I hope you are doing well.
As you can see I have recently got back to Alpe D'Huez for the skiing part of my life. I have visited Tignes, Sass Fee, Sella Ronda, Cortina (current Olympic runs) and Vail. Alpe D'Huez, in my opinion, offers the best beginner, and intermediate runs with some great blacks to test you. For example, the greens are all around the village, and you do not to catch a bus to get to the green runs or the resort. Many places to stay In Alpe D'Huez are ski in and ski out
I follow Ride along with Cookie YouTube and using the link below he has just announced The 3330 Marmottes 3 lift is NOW open
youtube.com/@Cookiesports

He is a great ski instructor for all levels in the resort and his contact details are on his YouTube Video/ channel
So if you are about to go or are going soon, do enjoy the full resort and have a fabulous time. Download the 'On the Snow' Application to get up to date snow reports.
Enjoy your skiing

At the close of 2025, I want to thank you all for joining me on my journey through the last year. It has been fun, a challenge and a great learning experience. Some of which I have shared on this channel. I have loved your comments, especially, if what I have put up on the channel, has helped you improve what you love doing, or do something you thought you were not able to do and can now do. See you in 2026 for more of 'what a wonderful world' we live in.
I wish you all a very happy Christmas and all the very best for the 2026 New Year

Thank you all for watching and commenting on my videos. I do appreciate it. I hope my videos have helped you enjoy your skiing more, helped you choose a resort or encouraged you to get skiing again or just kept you going. I enjoy sharing them and am now posting a few more videos from Alpe D'Huez where I was at the beginning of March. Enjoy

A very Happy Christmas to you all. Have a great day. If you are going skiing this winter, my skiing buddy Matt Yang has developed a skiing application to help you around any resort you go to. Called SkiCopilot. Use this link to download it copilot.ski/app/link. I will use at Alpe D'Huez when I go at the beginning of March 2025. I have found just asking your mobile provider can get your coverage up and running if you go far and wide. Have a great New Year. All the very best for 2025.

I have put up my review of the 5 ski resorts I have been to, All are good but some are better for your stage in your skiing career than others. We took the whole family to Tignes including my grandson. We stayed at a Mark Warner Hotel where included in the price is full child care,. Therefore you can go skiing with younger children. My grandson is 1 year old. Thank you

Just back from my first trip to Tignes staying at Hotel L' Ecrin in Val Claret, at the top of the valley. There are some lovely ski runs and the whole resort is massive as it includes Val D'Isere . There is a Tignes Application which will keep you up to date if skiing here. You can buy a ski pass for the whole resort for around 400 euros, but you will leave feeling a week is not long enough to sample the whole resort. We were there in New Year week. The place therefore was full and the pistes suffered later in the day being severely cut up. However I did learn how to handle moguls. I hope you enjoy the videos I put up taken last week. My next project will be to compare all the resorts, Vail, Sella Ronda, Tignes, Alpe D'Huez I have been to to give you my opinion on the pluses and minuses as each is very good but not complete. However the choice of where you go is yours

The application On the Snow reports for Alpe D'Huez another 12 cm of snow on what is already a snowy start to the 23/24 season. In fact resorts like Tignes have opened a month early than normal having had heavy snow since 2nd of November. Books those ski holidays in the French Alps for 23/24 season with confidence and anticipation of some great skiing. I am off to Tignes over the New Year break and will obviously get some videos from there.

My friend Paul Taylor is skiing in Chamonix and says 'it great skiing because its great snow' as at the moment the Western Alps have had good snow. So you are not too late to book that last minute spring ski holiday and enjoy great skiing

The next week forecast for snow is sunny this week with fresh snow next week. Alpe D'Huez keeps on delivering. The blue bird days next will have just the best conditions. The picture is the Auris Express over on Signal de l'Homme with a glorious sunny bar and restaurant at the finish.
