Keith Olbermann

HIATUS: forgive my tardiness in posting what I detailed in the May 11 episode - I've put the podcast on hiatus while I deal with a comparatively minor heart issue ("comparatively" is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, which is good because frankly I can't). It's Atrial Fibrillation and it was intermittent and infrequent until very recently. Now we have to do a surgical intervention early in June.

OTOH I'm told to expect to be thrown out of the hospital within six hours of arrival so most of my worries are logistical and recovery-oriented. They don't expect complications and they do expect the resolution of a lot of drags on my energy levels. The resumption of the podcast should be doable well before the end of June.

MAYBE they won't destroy the world before I get back. If not I hope you enjoyed Nancy Faust on the organ.

Just to confirm the obvious, the podcast is back today in both its forms - the YT video version and the lightweight audio-only original flavor here: tinyurl.com/456nznkc. We're only like 82 minutes long today, obvious stuff plus the Nuzzi News and Bill Maher's latest self-defenestration and a farewell to the greatest ESPN PA ever. I'm not certain about next Monday's show (for several reasons) and I'll update you when I know more

Hi! Long time video/audio supplier, first time poster - because I can't really talk at the moment. Obviously there's been no podcast today (Monday) and after seeing evidence that my voice would be back - enough - to put one out for Tuesday...I don't think so. Got better, got worse, gotta focus on getting better. If the laryngitis lets go in time to record for a Wednesday show, I'll advise. Otherwise my hope is the regular Thursday program. My apologies especially to those of you who actually do something happy while listening. Make sure to do it anyway!
