Eddie Lover is an italian guitarist, composer and producer born in Prato (Italy). His passion for the guitar started at the age of 13, after watching a Blues concert on TV.
He started playing blues inspired by B.B. King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Santana and Gary Moore, and played in various venues in Tuscany with his band (Double Excess). Later he also began exploring alternative sounds and practiced as a music therapist. After Double Excess disbanded in 2014 he stopped playing.
In 2022 he attended a master's degree in Mixing (with certification from Steinberg) from music producer Soma and started producing music again.
After 7 years without playing guitar, he was called on stage by a drummer friend of his to play a Slow Blues and his passion for music took over again.
From there, he begins to participate in Jam Sessions on the island of Fuerteventura and a new musical chapter opens with new bands and collaborations.

Friday 28th of November, at 5pm-9pm, CotiArte handcraft market will delight the fourth official step of La Ruta del Blues with Double Excess’ live music in trio. After Lanzarote, La Ruta del Blues is coming back to Fuerteventura with a powerful minimalist trio inspired from the pure style of Jimi Hendrix, with Jordi at drum, David as singer and bass guitar, and Eddie at guitar: Craftwork made in Fuerteventura, original designs, paintings and others artistic creations, come to visit us and at the same time enjoy one of the best sunsets of the island. El Cotillo fishermen village is connected to Corralejo with bus n°8 till 11pm ;)

🎸 She's here. Her name is Fuerteventura.
After 9 months of obsessive planning, researching woods, testing components, and countless exchanges with one of the finest luthiers around… I finally got to hold her.
This guitar is more than just an instrument — it’s a tribute to an island that gave me unforgettable emotions and endless musical inspiration.
The Black Korina evokes Fuerteventura’s rugged landscape; the cream and black pickups recall the sand and volcanic rocks of Corralejo and Jandia. Every black detail is a nod to the raw power of that land.
The neck, crafted from Pau Ferro with a Ziricote fretboard, feels like silk under your fingers.
And the tone? A surprising blend of clarity, warmth, and bold character. The kind of voice that makes everything else fade away.
The first notes? Blues riffs, naturally. The only right way to begin.
It’s my second handcrafted guitar (the first one dates back to 2009), but today it feels like a second daughter has been born. ❤️
Huge thanks to the luthier Luca Canteri for the art, patience, and mastery.
Some dreams require time, dedication, and love. This was one of them.
