Meet the Karnik Hanumantha the “wish-fulfilling” Hanuman Temple. This temple receives close to 5,000 tender coconuts a day. Every. Single. Day. That’s not a number that’s 5,000 wishes answered.

Here’s what struck me the moment I stepped in the energy. You don’t need anyone to tell you this place is powerful. You just feel it.

Everyone believes in this Hanuman. When a wish comes true, they return with tender coconut or oil for abhisheka.

And the stories only get more magical a stolen idol recovered after 1008 coconuts were promised. A coconut tree that mysteriously caught fire when a priest was refused an offering. Rain that fell for a farmer but stayed away from a wedding, both prayers answered on the same day.

This is why they call him Karanika Hanumantha the one who finds a way.

Right next door stands the Venkataramana Temple and in Moodbidri, they say a visit to one is incomplete without the other. Hanuman as Mukhyaprana, Venkataramana as Sarvaprana. Two temples, one soul.

Sri Hanuman Temple (Karnik Hanumantha), Moodbidri.

Also that’s one of my most favourite Prasadam in my hands 💖♥️💖

A Hidden gem!!! Peace and energy I felt at this temple was something extraordinary!

This beautiful temple in Moodabidri is believed to be nearly 1,000 years old, and its stunning pushkarini is one of its most captivating features.

What makes it even more unique is that the presiding Shiva is west-facing a rare feature in our temple architectures.

Some places don’t need grandeur to leave an impact. They simply have presence.

What a magical day yesterday was!!

Walking into Alva’s a campus spread across 300+ acres and seeing children so deeply invested in sports, culture, art, education… I’ve genuinely never seen a campus so wonderfully rooted.

Speaking to 600+ students yesterday was one of the most memorable days I’ve had in a long time.

And the Q&A round? Pure magic. The curiosity of these young minds my little “curious ninjas” asking every possible interesting question, was even more special than the talk itself.

Do you also love handloom and art sarees? There is so much heritage, story that unfolds in your hand while you hold it…

Receiving this exquisite Pure Dola Silk saree from Satyanarayan Silks felt so special….

The moment I unfolded it, I was mesmerized. This isn’t just a saree it’s a masterpiece. Every thread tells a story. The magnificent chariots of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra and Subhadra, the delicate motifs, the vibrant colours, and the intricate weaving reflect not only the extraordinary skill of the weavers but also the artistic vision behind every design.

Creating something this beautiful takes far more than craftsmanship. It requires patience, devotion, and generations of tradition carried forward with love.

What makes it even more special is that it has reached me just as the sacred Rath Yatra season is upon us. It feels like a gentle reminder of our rich heritage and the timeless traditions that continue to inspire millions of devotees.

Thank you, Satyanarayan Silks, for this thoughtful gesture and for preserving our culture through such breathtaking handwoven creations. I feel truly honoured to receive a piece that beautifully celebrates India’s spiritual heritage.

Some sarees are worn.
Some are treasured.
And a few become stories that you carry with you.

For anyone looking forward for these special pieces of art you can reach them at ‪@SatyanarayanClothStores‬

It’s strange, looking back at the version of me who sat in boardrooms chasing quarterly targets convinced that was the only definition of “success.”

I left it all to follow something I couldn’t fully explain at the time. A pull toward temples, rituals, and stories that were quietly disappearing from our collective memory.

People called it a risk. I called it a return to roots, to culture, to something larger than a job title.

The most beautiful part of this journey? You all walking along with me, listening to me, rooting for me since day 1 💖

Visited Arulmigu Kampahareswar Temple at Thirubuvanam, near Kumbakonam. This is one of those temples where you don’t just see the architecture, you slowly start reading the story through the walls, the murals, the old stone pillars, the Nandi, and the silence around the sanctum.

Kampahareswarar is remembered as God Shiva who removes fear and trembling. The temple is also deeply connected to Sarabeshwarar, the fierce form of Shiva associated with calming Narasimha Swamy’s ugra form. What stayed with me most was how beautifully this story is painted across the temple walls, from Narasimha Swamy to the devas and rishis, and finally to Sarabeshwarar.

Thirubuvanam is not a temple to rush through. Stand there for a while, look up, look at the murals, look at the old stone, and the temple slowly starts speaking. A powerful stop on the Kumbakonam temple trail. #mahadev #shiva

Probably the only temple where Shiva and Parvati are together in a Linga. A stunningly beautiful temple - have you been here?
