At the 11:06 mark of tonight’s livestream — while I was discussing the unlawful arrest involving PBA President Lou Civello — a Suffolk County police officer drove past my house. Photo attached.
I don’t believe in coincidences like this. Not at that exact moment, not at my home.
If this is meant to send a message, here’s mine: it won’t work. I will keep covering police misconduct, I will keep holding officials accountable, and I will keep doing it in the open — on camera, in the public record, where everyone can see exactly what happens when you try to silence a journalist.
