Welcome to my music channel dedicated to the the legend MANNA DEY.
This is my humble effort to continue the legacy created by Padmabhushan Manna Dey. All I am trying now, is a product of nearly 35 years of association with the Maestro.I have imbibed his style. I admired his variations of rendition on stage and try to follow the path he has shown. My performance is never a replica of the original sound tracks, which was his instruction.
I have got two sets of teams, one in India and one in UK, for convenience of travelling. I am now travelling with his torch of simple but deep, rendition of timeless songs, with the stamp of his heritage style of singing. Please subscribe if you like.

My dear friends,
“Milap” is Britain’s leading Indian music and dance development trust.
I feel extremely privileged and honoured to be invited by them for a solo performance as a tribute to the legend my Guru Manna Dey, celebrating his 103rd birthday.
Usually they organise Hindustani and Karnatic music and dance. But the classical world respects my Guru as an exponent in “Marga Sangeet” as well. For those of you who don’t know, Manna Dey was awarded “Pundit “ by the All India radio (AIR) and also from Lucknow University. In 2002 he was also awarded D.lit. from Ravindra Bharathi University of Kolkata.
Milap has given him this recognition on his 103rd birthday.
