I’m making a video in a month or two about underused pathfinder subclasses, and I would love some input. If I use your idea, I will of course credit you in the video.

Rules:
1) Post as many subclasses that you want that you think are underutilized by the community.
2) For each subclass, state why.
3) These are just normal subclass options. Not subclasses that also require a class archetype (like spellshot gunslinger). If you want to do those, we can do them in another video. This is purely subclasses, not class archetypes.
4) These are ***NOT*** your favorite archetypes. Just ones that are solvent (can do their jobs) that the community overlooks. If someone puts thief rogue in here I am ignoring it.
5) Yes, this leaves some classes (like fighter, monk) out of the running, I am aware.)

Okay, so it's important everyone knows where I am coming from. I'm mostly a 'live and let live' kinda guy. Everyone is free to have their own opinion, that kind of thing. I'm not that picky.

But for my day job, as I've said before, I work in public education. In particular I work with special needs kids. And let me tell you, they are nothing like portrayed in TV or in movies or whatever. They are wildly diverse, and most are hard working, nice, and all are worthy of some respect and visibility.

So if you come to my channel and say that they don't deserve to be in the hobby, kindly get out. If you don't like fantasy wheelchairs in Pathfinder, then you are saying these people don't deserve to be seen in hobbies. They don't deserve consideration. They don't deserve thought. And I am VEHEMENTLY against that.

I'm learning a new language (ASL) in order to help some nonverbal students, which is fun and fascinating, and I wish I had picked it up sooner. Heck, there is a deaf student in the school DnD club. THEY ARE IN OUR HOBBIES. And so they should have representation.

I've received this comment, that Paizo should ditch representation, unprompted a few times now, and I've hit the breaking point. Look, if it bothers you so much, you can ignore it in your own homegames. I can't stop you. But demanding that it never be an option is like saying "I, personally, don't like pepperoni on pizza, please ban all pepperoni." Except it's not pizza toppings, it is acknowledging that people exist, which is way worse.

And for all those that say fantasy wheelchairs are unrealistic in a fantasy game, that's not the issue. You are lying to yourself. You are saying that you are willing to accept an entirely nonmagical elixir that can instantly heal injuries, or turn you into a hulking beast, or give people VERY SPECIFIC hallucinations, but you can't deal with a wheelchair that can go up stairs? Get out of here.

Damnit, I didn't want to make another post.

I really want to be an apolitical channel where we talk about math rocks and the queen of the elves finally getting married. Or the Great evil lich trying to fight a literal Mecha in Absolom.

I also know that every time I post something like this, I get some far right nutjob making bad faith arguments in my comments section. It's transparent that these people aren't trying to make a legitimate argument, they are using logic when it suits them (which is rarely) and throwing it aside when it doesn't. Using any confusing linguistic twist to make themselves feel like they are in the right, while lying, and ignoring facts.

(And if you have legitimate need to good faith debate that's different. I have yet to see the far right person with a legitimate good-faith argument. It's always been 'delete this, do what I say, you're wrong if you just ignore the facts.')


But then some poorly trained goons peppersprayed a man who, by all accounts, was trying to help up a woman, and then shot him 10 times in the back.

The far right says you can't bring firearms to a protest. Oh really? Should we then retroactively murder all January Sixers? I know I'm against that vehemently, but that seems to be what those people are saying. Or is it just non-maga who can't bring guns to protests? Rules for thee but not for me? No I get it, it sucks to have to apply standards equally to everyone.

I'm just so effing tired of all of this. And I'm worried it will come to my state, or my school next. And I don't know what to do.
