It's dangerous when leaders inarbitrarily make decisions about public funding that suit their personal agendas rather than the public good. That's not rule of law. That's anarchy.
The citizens pay into public funds in trust that leadership of any affiliation will respectfully approach the use of those monies, specifically and PRIMARILY FOR the common good of its citizens.
When leadership squander public funds on agenda not supported by the public they serve, while simultaneously refusing to release said funding for programs of public good, that’s rogue leadership. #leadership#publicfunds#commongood
We have always been warned that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Perhaps, enough teaching needed to be done to explain what that means. But I argue that both literature from all people groups of the world, as well as most religious texts presented enough material to demonstrate the consequences of continuously giving power to one person or people group. Globally, we are where we are today because those who were taught also wanted power, so they didn't act as guardians against the the unfettered acquisition of power by some. Instead, they admired rather than be cautious of those with power. Rather than be guardians of justice and equity, they pursued and celebrated their proximity to power.
We are where we are today, at the mercy of the powerful - because those who should have limited their power (those who give them power and who worship their powers) didn't do their jobs. And they didn't do their jobs because they too wanted power.
Leadership is not about power. Leadership is about responsibility and accountability to the people, but because leadership has been corrupted through the status of power, leadership has overridden and become the greatest enemy of the people.

Some communities understand "we are the world" means affirming and respecting the dignity of every people group regardless of their immigration status. #Spain
From AP News, "Spain is granting legal status to most immigrants...In contrast to other nations that have moved to restrict immigration and asylum, many emboldened by the Trump administration’s policies, Spain has moved in the opposite direction with Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez and his ministers often extolling the benefits of legal migration to the country’s economy and aging workforce." | AP News share.google/P2TBKo0COddj9rIn7
