So I’m walking through the grass here at school, and I see a snake crossing my path.

Instead of stopping and walking the other way, I faced it and moved toward it.

And it quickly slithered away to the edge of the building and back into its hole.

—— It got me thinking… 🤔

When the devil crosses our path, we have a choice.

We can turn around and walk away, but we won’t know what will happen next.

Or we can face the devil himself with the authority we have been given by the One who already defeated him, and witness for ourselves what the power of Jesus can do.

You see, the snake knows that hole is where it belongs, and it will continue to return there once it’s done feeding.

The devil may have the opportunity to roam the earth and gather the souls that fall to him…

But in the end, he knows he will return to his hole forever and ever.

Jesus is King.
