Slowly, I started hating coming to my Nani's village... and the most painful part is that because of all this, I started finding it difficult to accept myself too.

I stay quiet because whenever I try to speak up, they blame my parents and say, "I don't know what her parents have taught her." I don't want the blame to fall on them, so I keep my feelings to myself. 🤍

“Don’t cry, you are a boy.”

But why?
Do boys not have emotions?
Are they not human beings?

Boys also feel, they also get hurt, they also break inside… they just don’t show it easily.
And when they try to show it, they are often stopped.

Emotions are not defined by gender.
