Lukewarm take: you don’t have to be dysphoric to be a “real” alterhuman.
While yes, dysphoria is a big part of many alterhuman experiences and can be very difficult for them, not everyone experiences it.
I, for example, don’t experience dysphoria much in terms of identifying as an alien yet knowing that I’m in a human body. Yet I still definitely classify myself as an alterhuman. I am a fictionkin and I am an alien even if it doenst cause me discomfort.
In short, the only thing that classifies you as an alterhuman is yourself. If you feel that you are on this wide spectrum, then you probably are.
