Hey guys, it's BigMacDavis here. ❤️ I miss all of you very much and I know it's been a while since I've posted anything, but there's a reason. I'm sitting here wanting you guys to know to never, ever, EVER take anything for granted. Things can change so fast.

For all intents and purposes, Sam and I have become homeless as of July 1st. When Sam's daughter and her fiance moved out in May, we were transitioning from a three-bedroom to a one-bedroom. We found a one-bedroom, paid the security deposit and the first month of rent, and just before we're about to move in, a car rams into that apartment! Just boom! The 69 gods were not smiling Luckily nobody was killed.

Here's the shitty thing. The complex will refund us the security deposit and the first month of rent but we have to wait till the 1st of the next month. It's a policy of 30-day holding to make sure you're serious about renting and won't back out. Like what the heck? It wasn't even our fault! Instead of fighting, though, we had to continue vacating the three-bedroom because we had to be out by June 30th when our lease expired and we can't afford that anyway. We rented a U-Haul and a storage unit and have been transferring our things over there. With the last of our money, we have rented a motel for the next couple of days.

Guys, we're scared. I've never been in this situation before but it's a gripping, gnawing fear. I know some of you have probably experienced homelessness so you know how scary the feeling is especially for the first time. I feel helpless. Like I've failed Sam somehow even though I didn't fail her. We have both been crying off and on today. 😭 We have reached out to resources like Pair Team because I qualify with state health insurance and they will help with a new security deposit but there's a waiting list. 😭 I'm sure there are more options and if there are please let us know. We are in California.

Even an encouraging comment would help out so much right now, guys. Just to read your guys' words and know that you're thinking about us during this time means the world to us. Sam and I truly have the best community in the world. I'm just letting you guys know what's happening right now and we will keep you up to date with what's going on. I miss all you guys!!! Most of you have become my dear friends, so I honestly know the thoughts and prayers are genuine. We love all of you!!!! ❤️

We found another complex. A new security deposit and rent would be $2,450. Maybe we can ask you guys collectively for the help? We'll pay you all back once we get the refund. You have my promise on that from the red pony himself. Speaking of ponies, all those generous dancing ponies in my streams helped with the first security deposit, haha, and you will all get that back. If we don't make that, maybe it can buy us a few more motel stays so we can be out of the car. ❤️

Guys, either way, once I return it will be a new me. I have gotten a shocking dose of reality and it makes me look at things differently. I will never take for granted the wonderful pleasure of sitting in front of a computer screen and playing video games. I realize now if you are able to do that you are truly blessed. I realize that now and I will never take it for granted again. I will be resuming walkthroughs again, gosh I miss them SO MUCH. I didn't know what I had until it was gone. I would give anything to have that back. Anything. Even a face reveal if it was needed, lol.
