Let me tell you a story...

As I'm sure many of you who watch and follow my work, the power of stories, worlds, mysterious, adventures and woe can play at your heart strings like you didnt know was possible. Whether thats making you laugh, cry or get angry.

Like many of you, I'm sure, I grew up a confused person. The youngest son. Something of a black sheep, unsure of where I belong or who I was really supposed to be. Years of repressed fears, taurma, uncertainty building up, never to be shared... hidden. Buried deep.

However, like many of you, an outlet. A world to escape into. A reprieve. Something to be excited about. A chance to be who I really hoped I could be, free from my own shadowy demons.

My first taste of such a world, final fantasy 7. A world seemingly so vast and complex, with characters I could connect with and a mysterious world and plot that had me wanting to know every single little detial. My love for science fiction was born.

Many mysterious and science fiction master pieces followed. Halo, gears of war, the terminator, half life, final fantasy 8, 9 and 10, star treck, star wars, Alien, etc etc. All wonderful IP's with wonderful stories and characters.

However, not one of those has personally inspired as much as this stupid game. Destiny brought with it mysterious questions, malevolent bad guys, a scifi/fantasy world were my character (a female hunter obviously) felt powerful and confident.

Playing it from the very start, I was able to loose myself with in it. Thousands of hours played and many hard days soothed knowing I can escape this crazy world. For some, written stories, for me, believe if or not, destiny 2

As of June 9th this game gets its final update with no D3 on the horizon. It's been a blast and thank you so much for everyone that work on it and brought a ray of light into a world that can seem so incredibly dark at times (one of the very missions of GPBs as a whole - community and togetherness in story)

1. Sir Knight, sent into battle for his kingdom, is killed in battle by the rival kingdom. Sir Knight awakes to find himself reborn as a princess in the rival kingdom.

4.A guy applies to work as a character actor at a popular theme park, but the only role he can get is that of a princess or other female character. He then finds out that the magic that the theme park claims to be running on is real and he actually becomes that character for the duration of the job
