As many of you know we don't have AC in our house and we only have one AC unit and that is in our bedroom and it has been so hot this week. So I have not been cleaning too much. Which is driving me crazy because I don't sit well. 😅

So that also means I haven't filmed this week so far. So the plan is tomorrow should be a little cooler and hopefully I can get some content. 🙏

In Matthew chapter 9 in verse 13 Jesus says I desire mercy and not sacrifice. He was talking to the Pharisees who were questioning why He was eating with tax collectors and sinners.

Jesus quotes Hosea 6:6 that says For I delight in loyalty rather than sacrifice. He uses this OT reference to highlight the importance of inner transformation and genuine love over mere external compliance with religious duties.

Jesus emphasizes that God values mercy over realistic sacrifice. This challenges us to prioritize compassion and kindness in our daily interactions.
✨️
All in chapter 8 and 9 we see demonstrations of faith. I believe faith and mercy go hand in hand. Our faith in God calls us to be humble and merciful. Accepting that we are sinners in need of a savior.
✨️
May we go out today and show compassion and kindness and let our actions and words reflect that we are followers of Christ.
