God is more interested in the changes taking place IN YOU than the changes taking place ON YOU.
God is more interested in the changes taking place IN YOU than the changes place AROUND YOU.
God is more interested in the changes taking place IN YOU than the changes taking place THROUGH YOU.
In fact, the quality and scope of the changes that God works THROUGH YOU, AROUND YOU, and ON YOU is a function of the the depth of changes you allow God to make IN YOU.
Who you're BECOMING is more important to God than what you're DOING and what you're ACQUIRING (HAVE).

Afua Kyei, the Chief Financial Officer of Bank of England, who I've written two inspirational posts about this year, has been named the UKs Most Influential Black Person.
According to the BBC:
"The 43-year-old is one of the UK's most senior finance leaders, in charge of the financial governance of the Bank's £1 trillion balance sheet and funding reforms.
The BoE executive director topped the 2026 Powerlist, which recognises the most powerful people of African, African Caribbean, and African American heritage in the UK.
Other influential names include former footballer Ian Wright, who's new to the list, make-up artist Dame Pat McGrath and actor Idris Elba."
A big congratulation to Afua Kyei. You're a biiiiig woman!
Here's a recap from my previous posts about her...
Afua spent years training in Chemistry to fellowship level at Oxford and Princeton, then she pivoted from chemistry into finance, two completely different worlds. Through ACCA, Ernst & Young, UBS, and Barclays, today she leads as CFO of the Bank of England.
That’s reinvention: reshaping who you are professionally to match evolving markets—and your evolving aspirations.
Are you thinking about reinvention? It can be scary. What if it doesn’t work? Am I not too old? But remember—reinvention doesn’t always mean starting over. Sometimes what you need is partial reinvention..
Reinvention could mean:
1. Redirection – changing your academic course or profession.
2. Reskilling – learning something completely new.
3. Upskilling – deepening what you already know.
4. Repositioning – shifting how you’re perceived.
5. Rebranding – presenting a new professional identity.
6. Relocation – moving into new environments.
Or a combination of some of the above. The key is that reinvention is possible—and powerful.
Your path may twist and turn, but that doesn’t mean you’re lost—it may mean you’re evolving.
The courage to reinvent yourself is often the bridge to your next breakthrough.
Share your thoughts. Share to inspire someone.

What Pastor Otabil Said About Prophet Annor During His Birthday Celebration
Can You Truly Follow Someone Younger Than You?
One of the most powerful lessons on leadership and humility came from Pastor #MensaOtabil’s words about #ProphetChristopher Yaw Annor of #icgcholyghost Temple.
He said:
“I got interested in his life and have been very close to him since then...at almost every step of the way. And although he’s a bit older than myself, he has always been comfortable following my leadership since 1978. It has nothing to do with conditions of service or inducements but I think that his character is one that speaks to a consistency of a person as a Christian.”
This is a profound truth:
* Your supervisor, leader, or Pastor does not need to be older than you.
* You can flourish under the leadership of someone younger if you have the humility to learn, follow, and grow.
* Greatness is not measured by age, but by character, vision, and consistency.
* Growth comes not from who is older, but from who is willing to learn.
* True submission is a mark of maturity, not weakness.
If you find yourself unable to respect or follow someone simply because they are younger, then it may be wiser to step aside than to stay and resist.
Note that this is just one of several things he said about him. I'll share insights on other things he said in another post.
What do you think? Share your thoughts.
And kindly share to inspire and instruct someone.
I'm a Ghostwriter, a Corporate Trainer, and an Aspiring Pastor.

Never despise small beginnings.
The first picture is the Kanda Cluster of Schools where #ICGC began in 1984. According to Pastor #MensaOtabil, there was no electricity in the classroom then — they lit kerosene lamps when they needed light.
From that single classroom with just 20 members, God has raised a movement: over 1,000 branches today across Ghana, Europe, North America, Canada, and Africa.
The lesson? Where your company, church or family is today is not your final destination. Your current location — whether it’s a rented space, a small office, the boot of your car, or even your living room — is only a transit point.
So don’t be discouraged by humble beginnings. If you grow yourself, stay focused, and pursue your purpose and goals with discipline, you will lift your family, church, or company out of its own “Kanda Cluster of Schools.”
Remember: greatness doesn’t always start in palaces — sometimes it begins in classrooms with kerosene lamps.
Question for you: What’s your “Kanda Cluster of Schools” story — that small start that carries big dreams? Share with me below

A straight-line career path may be real for some people—but for many others, it’s a myth. Careers and businesses rarely move step by step in a neat progression. Sometimes, life demands that you reinvent yourself completely.
Take Afua Kyei, the CFO of the Bank of England. She was born in London to Ghanaian parents.
At age 7, she wanted to be a doctor. At Oxford, she read Chemistry, and for her Master’s, she specialized again—this time creating chemicals with anti-tumor properties. She even went on to Princeton for a fellowship.
But then came the turning point. Afua realized: “After some time working in the labs…I wanted to use my creative and experimentation skills to solve problems.”
So she pivoted—moving from chemistry into finance, two completely different worlds. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant, worked with Ernst & Young, went into investment banking at UBS, rose to CFO roles at Barclays, and today leads as CFO of the Bank of England.
✨ Reinvention could mean:

2. Reskilling – learning something completely new.
3. Upskilling – deepening what you already know.
4. Repositioning – shifting how you’re perceived.
5. Rebranding – presenting a new professional identity.
6. Relocation – moving into new environments.

Our General Overseer, Pastor Mensa Otabil's Christian Conversations podcast (Ep 1) ended at about 6:30pm. It lasted for 25 minutes, shorter than I expected.
And it ended just when he was about to make a critical point that I suspect is about the transition from the prophetic in the Old Testament to the prophetic in the New Testament.
Here are my takeaways:
1. Though Christianity started in Jerusalem, today, Africa has become the fulcrum and so what happens here transcends Africa and this generation.
2. "My understanding of the prophet's ministry is not based on HOW PEOPLE MANIFEST IT but ON THE WORD of GOD". The Christian faith is not based on our EXPERIENCES but on the revelation of God in the SCRIPTURES.
3. The MAIN purpose of a prophet in the OT was speaking forth the word of God to RECONNECT PEOPLE BACK to GOD.
4. Abraham was described as a prophet but what did he do as a prophet? He was the one God used to INTRODUCE, CONNECT humanity BACK to HIM as the One God.
5. Not ALL OT PROPHETS gave PERSONAL PROPHECIES. For most of them, when they did, those prophecies fit into God's bigger purpose and plan for His people.
6. The Bible tells a coherent story...it is a rational sensible book. Two incidents 500 years apart may easily fit together.
There's a lot that can be unpacked from each of these points. Maybe we'll dissect them later.

This evening, we explore how to take our work to higher levels of excellence for Kingdom Influence, Kingdom Finance, and Family and Others support. Join us if you can.
