Six months ago I started showing up almost every day for something I believed in with regard to advocacy. This morning I'm sitting here trying to figure out how to thank all of you.

Conroe has its city back.I want to say that again, because for a long time it didn't feel possible: Conroe has its city back. We won every available seat. Every single one. The kind of margin people call a landslide when they can't think of a bigger word.
Three senior administrators, the ones who'd been treating their positions like personal property have quietly retired, "Take the Money and Run". The ones who'd built careers out of talking down to the public they were supposed to serve are gone. Not because someone got lucky. Because regular people decided they were done, and they showed up.

I have to be honest with you about something. The last two months almost broke me. The algorithm has been brutal. The channel has taken hit after hit, and the work behind the scenes has been heavier than anything I've ever done. There were weeks I couldn't film. Weeks I couldn't open the comments. I went quiet because I had nothing left to give.

And here's the part I need you to hear: I made it through because of you. The messages that came in when I disappeared. The people who kept showing up for the cause even when I couldn't show up for the channel. You didn't just support a channel. You held me up while I was breaking and helped a city take itself back at the same time.

I don't know how to repay something like that. I'm not sure you can. So I'll just say what's true: Thank you. I see you. We did this together. And we're not done.
