My love for music began quietly in the late '90s, when my parents gave me a cassette player as a reward for good grades. I remember curling up next to that black player in my bedroom, humming my own melodies with my own lyrics. I didn't know how to write music yet, so my process was simple: press record, hum the song, press stop, rewind, and listen back. In my heart, I dreamed that one day I would compose real songs. I never told anyone.
As a kid, I'd gather with friends in our apartment building and choreograph little performances with our group of girls using popular Romanian songs (like those from the band Andre). We even performed for our neighbors! Around that same time, I also put on small shows at my school's performance hall. The choreography was basic, the music came from a cassette player, and the audience was small—but those were my first artistic beginnings, and they felt real.
Life eventually guided me toward a more technical path. I earned an engineering degree and started my first job in the field, but I quickly realized it wasn't where I truly belonged. I didn't leave the technical world completely behind, but I pursued creative outlets alongside it—handmade crafts, wedding floral arrangements, and even a travel blog.
Music is a calling that has been with me since childhood. Since that first engineering job in 2012, I've been searching for what I truly want to do, following my real passion. And now, living in a time when AI can help bring my imagination to life, I'm finally able to create what I once only dreamed of as a child.
The lyrics and concepts behind my songs are mine—refined and guided with AI, just as I guide AI to craft the melodies that fit them. I have my own original songs. I'm living a dream, and I couldn't be more grateful.
