বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশের private commercial bank-গুলোর recruitment process ব্যাংকভেদে কিছুটা ভিন্ন হলেও সামগ্রিকভাবে একটি common pattern দেখা যায়। বিশেষ করে MTO, TO, SCO, Young Leader, Trainee Assistant Officer ধরনের পদে সাধারণত online assessment, written test এবং final interview/viva - এই ধাপগুলো অনুসরণ করা হয়।
BRAC Bank-এর Young Leaders’ Program-এ online/AI-based screening ব্যবহারের তথ্য পাওয়া যায়, আর Standard Bank MTO নিয়োগে shortlisted candidates-দের written test-এর জন্য ডাকার কথা job circular-এ উল্লেখ থাকে। তবে candidate-reported experience অনুযায়ী কিছু ব্যাংকে online test, written test, assessment centre এবং viva - এই ৩/৪ ধাপের process-ও দেখা যায়।
STEP-01: Online Test / Standard Assessment Test
সময়সীমা: সাধারণত ২০–৩০ মিনিট
এই ধাপে প্রার্থীর basic aptitude, quick thinking এবং problem-solving ability যাচাই করা হয়। অনেক সময় test link নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের মধ্যে open থাকে এবং candidates ঘরে বসেই test দিতে পারে। BRAC Bank YLP-এর ক্ষেত্রে iMocha platform ব্যবহার করার official login page দেখা যায়, যেখানে YLP-কে fresh graduates-এর year-long career development program বলা হয়েছে।
Psychometric / Behavioural Assessment কিছু ব্যাংকে personality, decision-making style, teamwork attitude এবং workplace behaviour যাচাই করার জন্য psychometric-type questions থাকতে পারে।
এই ধাপটি mainly screening test. এখানে speed, accuracy এবং time management খুব গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
STEP-02: Preliminary + Written Test MCQ and Descriptive Part
সময়সীমা: সাধারণত ১ ঘণ্টা থেকে ১.৫ ঘণ্টা ধরণ: MCQ + Written / Descriptive
অনেক ব্যাংকে MCQ এবং written part একসাথে নেওয়া হয়। আবার কিছু ব্যাংকে online test-এর পর আলাদা written test নেওয়া হয়।
MCQ Section 1. English
Grammar, vocabulary, sentence correction, fill in the blanks, synonym-antonym, comprehension.
Basic computer knowledge, MS Office, shortcut keys, internet, email, cyber security, digital banking terms.
5. Banking & Economic Awareness
Bangladesh Bank policies, monetary policy, inflation, repo rate, reverse repo, CRR, SLR, NPL, exchange rate, SME banking, digital banking, financial inclusion.
6. Bangla
সব ব্যাংকে না থাকলেও কিছু পরীক্ষায় Bangla থাকতে পারে। যেমন: শুদ্ধ বানান, সন্ধি-বিচ্ছেদ, এককথায় প্রকাশ, কারক-বিভক্তি, বাগধারা, সমার্থক-বিপরীত শব্দ।
Written / Descriptive Section 1. English Focus Writing
কোনো current issue, banking issue, economy বা social topic-এর ওপর short essay বা focus writing দিতে হতে পারে।
Example topics: Digital Banking in Bangladesh, Inflation and Economy, SME Banking, Financial Inclusion, Climate Change, Youth Employment.
2. Argumentative Writing
একটি statement দিয়ে পক্ষে/বিপক্ষে যুক্তি লিখতে বলা হতে পারে।
Example: “Cashless economy is necessary for Bangladesh.” “AI will reduce human employment in banking sector.”
3. Business Letter / Email Writing
Customer complaint reply, loan-related email, official request letter, apology letter, branch communication ইত্যাদি আসতে পারে।
4. Translation
Bangla to English অথবা English to Bangla translation থাকতে পারে। Banking, economy বা current affairs related paragraph বেশি common.
5. Basic Math Problem Solving
কিছু ক্ষেত্রে MCQ ছাড়াও written math solve করতে হতে পারে।
6. Data Analysis / Graph Interpretation
Occasionally chart, graph, table বা data দিয়ে short analytical answer লিখতে বলা হতে পারে।
STEP-03: Assessment Centre / Group Task কিছু ব্যাংকে থাকতে পারে
সব ব্যাংকে না থাকলেও MTO/Young Leader type recruitment-এ assessment centre, group discussion বা case analysis থাকতে পারে। Candidate-reported experience অনুযায়ী Standard Bank-এর মতো কিছু process-এ online test, written test, assessment centre এবং viva ধাপ দেখা গেছে, যদিও এটি official universal rule নয়।
STEP-04: Viva-Voce / Final Interview
Written/MCQ বা assessment stage-এ যারা qualify করে, তাদের final interview বা viva-তে ডাকা হয়।
Interview Board যেসব বিষয় দেখে
Communication Skill Bangla ও English—দুই ভাষায় clear, confident এবং professionalভাবে কথা বলতে পারা।
Personality & Presence of Mind চাপের মধ্যে calm থাকা, smart answer দেওয়া, logical thinking দেখানো।
Current Affairs Bangladesh economy, banking sector, inflation, exchange rate, NPL, remittance, export-import, digital banking, recent financial news.
Situational Judgement বাস্তব banking situation দিয়ে প্রশ্ন করা হতে পারে।
Example: একজন customer angry হলে আপনি কীভাবে handle করবেন? Loan recovery problem হলে কী করবেন? Team conflict হলে আপনার role কী হবে?
Leadership & Teamwork MTO/Young Leader position-এর ক্ষেত্রে leadership potential খুব গুরুত্ব দিয়ে দেখা হয়।

Private bank recruitment exam-এ শুধু math বা English ভালো জানলেই হবে না। Candidate-কে একইসাথে analytical, communicative, updated, professional and adaptable হতে হবে।
তাই preparation নেওয়ার সময় English, Math, Reasoning, Banking Awareness, Current Affairs, ICT এবং Writing - সবগুলো area balanced way-তে পড়া উচিত।
