PS: I read about this in a book about the fighting tactics of Mongols. So, I thought I would ask my Jigyasium people to see which army would they choose.

While reading about the third battle of Panipat, I have learned so many new things about the battle that I could make a dedicated video on how accurately the "Panipat" movie portrayed the battle and where the filmmakers took creative liberties.

PS: Panipat 3 video is on track, but it's very long! The video is already over 30 minutes long, and I haven't even started the battle tactics section yet. I'm still hoping to release this video this coming Sunday.


पानीपत की तीसरी लड़ाई (Panipat 3) के बारे में पढ़ते हुए मुझे इस युद्ध के बारे में इतनी सारी नई बातें पता चली हैं कि मैं इसपर एक पूरी वीडियो बना सकता हूँ। उसमें मैं यह बता सकता हूँ कि "पानीपत" फिल्म में इस लड़ाई को कितना सही दिखाया गया है और कहाँ-कहाँ फिल्म मेकर्स ने अपनी तरफ से बदलाव किए हैं।

PS: पानीपत 3 की वीडियो पर काम चल रहा है, लेकिन यह बहुत लंबी होने वाली है! वीडियो अभी से ही 30 मिनट से ज़्यादा की हो चुकी है, और मैंने अभी तक युद्ध की रणनीतियों (tactics) वाला हिस्सा शुरू भी नहीं किया है। मैं अभी भी यही उम्मीद कर रहा हूँ कि इस आने वाले रविवार तक यह वीडियो रिलीज़ हो जाए

I am working on the Third Battle of Panipat. This is going to be a long video, as I got a very well-known book (Solstice at Panipat by Dr Uday Kulkarni) as my primary source. The research/reading phase is complete. Should be able to release the video within the next two weeks.

We don't have many History/Nonfiction books in India that explore the tactics and strategy of ancient Indian battles. I am glad I found the Panipat book which covers all three battles' tactics - it was also recommended to me by a few viewers of Jigyasium. Let me know if you know of any good books that talk about the tactics or strategy of Indian battles. Not religious or political - purely tactics/strategy based books. And please don't recommend videos or podcasts - only books.
