Dear friends,
Hereby we send you a very ‘remarkable’ interview we recently had. In April 2023 a unique Doctorate (Phd) was given to Dr Kruijthoff, a family physician in the Netherlands, who researched a group of patients with severe chronic diseases who were healed after Christian prayer. Sicknesses like: Parkinson, Multiple Sclerosis, Anorexia, Leukemia Colitis Ulcerosa and many more.
This unique research has never been done before in this way worldwide. He collected healing prayer reports of 83 cases. After using very strict criteria of inclusion, 27 cases were selected to be evaluated by a team of medical specialists. They researched their medical files and with 14 cases in depth interviews were conducted.
Eventually 11 cases were considered to be medically remarkable, none medically unexplained but still very remarkable.
All 83 had similar dominance of patterns: instantaneous healing, unexpectedness , strong physical en emotional manifestations, a sense of being touched and overwhelmed and the cure was not a normal one but a transformative experience interpreted as an act of God which changed them in the person-as-a-whole.
Many sceptic questions are being answered like: is it placebo, psychiatric, only temporal healings, is it wishful thinking or they did not have the sickness?
A powerful and unique story were the truth of what we know of as Gods healing power is being looked at from a scientific point of view.
