Welcome to our family farm! I'm Andrea, the main individual you'll see in our videos! We are a 5th generation farm in southwest Minnesota! Our family farm has been here for over 100 years We grows corn and soybeans, have a commercial cow/calf operation, feedlot and a pretty cool fainting goat herd.
On our channel, you will see all things to do with growing crops & raising livestock. Planting, harvest, spraying, calving, working cattle, breeding and so much more!

I know June content was kind of slow — but I’ve got a video scheduled for Sunday at 9 am central time to make up for it! It is available for members now to watch and you’ll see new videos on Tuesday & Thursday as usual too!
June was crazy, but I gathered lots of content to share! We’re definitely backlogged yet, but there’s lots of fun I want to share with you. We’ll get back to “more current” eventually before fall arrives!
Videos might be *slightly* out of order yet too. I wanted to put all the rye videos together and wrap that series up, then we’ll bounce back a few days for breeding season and more pasture turnout.
It’s chaotic but should be fun watches!

I hate to do this twice in one month, but there won’t be a new video today. I unexpectedly lost Todd last night and mentally need a break from social media. We’ll be back to normal next week. We are working on getting rye cut and breeding more cows too — so it’s just extra busy on top of everything.

Sad (but also exciting for me) news about tomorrow’s video.
There will not be a new upload tomorrow. We are in heavy breeding and I just don’t have enough time in the day to edit another video this week. We’ll be back to the normal schedule next week.
On the good side — I bred 457 and she was very easy to breed! You’ll see this in an upcoming video.

We’re also getting the mower ready to mow rye, planting the garden and more. Dad and I are going on an exciting trip early next week too! Just so much at one time.
But it’s sunny and 75° and I have zero complaints about that!

I am late to seeing that @ohrmundtsimmentals tagged me in a video two weeks ago! He's got a great channel if you like Simmentals and enjoy someone telling you all about their passion for their cattle, just like me! Chris is a great guy. We ended up with a few of his heifers on a load of feeder calves -- that we then added to our group of replacement heifers in 2023. They've been great cows and someday I hope to get more from him again!
If you hear me talk about 2310, 2315 and 2317 -- that's them! 2317 is "seven" and had the flashy heifer you all love this year lol!
