I’ve ran out of fictional audiobooks to listen to while doing housework etc and need recommendations please.
I’m not into romance novels or anything overly sci-fi. I like thrillers, crime, dystopian, fantasy, horror, something with a good plot twist maybe.

Loving and remembering Samantha Krysia Sims
9th October 2002 - 10th April 2021

I want to share a poem that I wrote during Samantha’s vigil last year. I watched from the UK and writing helped focus my mind and helped me be there in my own way.
Sam was one of the most kind, thoughtful, polite and beautiful person I have had the privilege of getting to know. By standing in solidarity we can work towards getting her the justice she deserves.


Samantha

In memory’s embrace we gather near,
To honor Samantha who we hold dear.
A friend to all in her gentle way,
She brightened lives each and every day.

In every gesture, a radiant glow,
Spreading joy and peace wherever she’d go.
A kindness to all, not a harsh word said,
When in her presence joy would spread.

For every tear that falls tonight,
A white butterfly flutters in the light.
Their beauty, a reflection of Sammy’s soul,
Forever cherished, in hearts half whole.

In whispered prayers, as you gather close,
Remember her love, like a yellow rose.
Each petal a memory, fragrant and sweet,
In every bloom, her spirit we meet.

In solidarity though absence long,
I stand beside you steadfast and strong.
Though oceans stretch and miles divide,
My thoughts will remain at your side.
