Hello, and welcome! I'm just a videographer in his 30s who likes to document / film. Here I post videos of various videos of things such as breaking news stories, transit (lots of transit videos), elevators, emergency vehicles, buildings, astronomy, science, weather, walking videos, educational videos and much more!

My main goal is to document life.

I film everything and anything that I find interesting, or that others may find interesting. I consider myself an independent journalist / filming enthusiast.

This channel is a real-time journal of the past. present and future where I can bring you the world through my eyes and beyond.

I chose the name Sky of the Universe because I believe the mind has no limits of discovery, creativity etc, just as the sky of this universe has no limits. Also, the Universe is full of so much diversity just like my channel and I also love astronomy 🌌

Sky of the Universe

We got some nice storms today in the Montreal, Canada region ⛈️ I didn't catch any on video. Maybe next time.

Like I said, I'll have more videos sometime next week. I'm not really motivated as of right now to film. Have a good week ahead.

Happy Thursday! It has been a bit of a chaotic past two weeks since I forgot my password to my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra phone and got locked out. The good news is things have finally settled down and I should have new videos by next week sometime.

I'll also now be using the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Recap: 2 weeks ago or so I changed my lock screen password on my S24 Ultra because I had the same one for awhile. I ended up trying too many times and have locked myself out of my device and only get one password attempt every 24 hours.

Samsung told me I have to remember the password or do a factory reset and lose everything.

Since I need a phone, I decided to get the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. I wanted to wait until the S27 Ultra came out because I heard the camera would be better next year, but decided I did not really have a choice.

Meanwhile, I remember I had saved the most important photos on an external hard drive. These photos include the total solar eclipse, northern lights, etc.

I decided then that I will simply factory reset my S24 Ultra and keep it as a spare. Some ideas I had include using the other device to record a video while I am doing a live stream on my S26 Ultra or vice versa. Perhaps I can screen record a real-time map of where I am while filming a bus ride and add that to the video showing where I am at any given point in the video.

When all is said and done, I managed to save my important photos, I have an upgraded phone and a spare device.

It is also worth noting that my monthly cellular bill remains the same price since I pay for the phone monthly just like the last one. So at the end of the day, I did not lose anything financially thankfully.

I will be uploading more videos by some time next week. I'll also talk more about the phone soon as well, as I am still discovering new features.

Yes, the camera is better than the S24 Ultra, at least marginally.

Have a good rest of the week ahead.

In case you missed it, here is my first video filmed using my new Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra phone. I will talk more about the device and give a review once I have finished setting it up and used it for longer. Overall, it seems pretty much the same as the S24 Ultra with some noticeable improvements.

More to follow!

Happy Sunday. It looks like the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra 256 GB will be my new official device. I was confident I had remembered the password to my locked out S24 Ultra but it seems I didn't.

Eventually I will get the password right on the S24 so I can again access pictures that I did not back up.

My plan was to wait until the S27 Ultra came out next year since they is when the bigger camera upgrade is supposed to come out.

Note: Samsung themselves said the only option I have is to remember the password or do a factory reset and lose everything on my S24 Ultra.

With that said I'm sure I'll eventually get the password right.

I'm not going to do an unboxing video for the S26 Ultra but there are plenty online. Honestly it's not that much different than the S24 Ultra I had. It weighs a little less, the screen is slightly bigger and the corners are rounded.

However, I'll talk more about it in the days ahead.

I'll film my first video with it soon enough as well and I'll also catch up on comments soon enough.

Have a good week ahead.

Happy Friday. It has been a somewhat chaotic week this week being locked out of my phone because I forgot my login password. Samsung even looked into it and told me the only option is to remember it or a factory reset. I don't want to do a factory reset because I have some nice pictures from the REM open houses, etc hat I did not back up.

With that said, I need a phone and even though I wanted to wait for the S27 Ultra next year, I decided to get the S26 Ultra and I will be picking the phone up Saturday. As I said, it comes to a cheaper monthly bill than I am paying now so I actually save money.

I also decided to buy a Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+Tablet. It was on sale and I have used it for a couple of days and it works great. You can see it here:
www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/samsung-galaxy-tab-a1…

I m even able to put a SIM card it but can't make phone calls.

With all this said, I am confident I will eventually get back into my S24 Ultra, even if I have to guess the password once every 24 hours.

I will catch up on all comments eventually.

Have a good weekend!

It looks like there was an announcement today about Canada reaching a deal with Quebec on billions of dollars in infrastructure funding, some of the funding includes public transit funding.

It's a good start, but obviously far from enough. Remember to keep making noise and putting pressure on the leaders for increased public transit funding.

Sky of the Universe

Happy Monday and last week of May 2026.

I filmed a couple of random videos this past weekend, including some rides on the REM A3 Anse-à-l'Orme Branch between Bois-Franc and Anse-à-l'Orme stations in both directions.

I'll publish them in the coming days.

For this week, I'll see how I feel mentally and how motivated I am to make new videos. I'll take it one day at a time.

As I mentioned in my podcast, until I find a partner and have settled down with her, I really am not very motivated. I miss my last girlfriend like crazy that stopped being with me in early 2023 and who stopped talking with me completely since then as well.

I admit though making videos keeps me distracted, but as I am 39, I really hope to find my one soon.

Also, the water shuttles are back again so I'll try to film some rides on those again soon.

I'll catch up on comments eventually as usual.

Have a good week ahead.
