Today, my Bharat is rising. It is delivering a strong, fitting reply to its enemies — entering their homes and striking them down. Just like the Mahabharata, a righteous war has been waged, and we have emerged victorious. And this victory is not accidental; it is the result of a strong and decisive government. For years, India suffered silently — mainly due to traitors hiding within our own nation who spread propaganda and weakened our unity.

But today, when Prime Minister Modi and our brave armed forces retaliated against Pakistan, avenging the Pahalgam attack, it was a clear message — we will go to any extent to protect our people and create a terror-free nation. Whether it's Maoists, insurgents in the Northeast like Bodo militants, or extremists in various parts of India, our forces, under strong leadership, have proven one thing — there will be no compromise on national security.

But for this mission to succeed, citizens too must stand united and act in the national interest. I still remember when I was in the CRPF and stationed at Baramulla — I had just stepped out of my room, and from afar on the hills, I could see the Indian tricolor fluttering at a BSF post. Suddenly, chaos broke out — everyone rushed to the television. I too watched as news poured in about the bomb blasts during Diwali shopping in Delhi — so many innocent lives lost.

I remember the 2010 Sukma-Dantewada massacre in Chhattisgarh, where 77 CRPF soldiers from my own organization laid down their lives for the country. Till 2014, countless terror attacks took place under the Congress regime — a period marked by weakness and complacency, where national security was often compromised, and the enemy emboldened.

Then there was 26/11 — when Kasab struck. That was an era of Congress rule — an era of compromise, weakness, and betrayal, where some sold their conscience to foreign powers and enemies like Pakistan. But when Modi and his government came to power, there was a drastic shift. Systematic crackdowns were launched on terror networks. And as for those in Kashmir who supported attacks like Pahalgam — these were not victims, but opportunists hungry for money, who showed no sympathy for our martyred soldiers.

The peaceful life they've lived for years is only possible because of our army and this powerful government — which follows Chanakya Neeti when needed, and isn’t afraid to wage a Mahabharat-style war when the time comes. Those who insult our tricolor from foreign lands have been silenced by this government. People must understand that during peace time, nations prepare for war. Intelligence is gathered, strategies planned, and defense budgets drawn. All of this rests on the shoulders of the government.

And when the time came, through a calculated, non-escalating Operation Sindoor, we avenged every drop of blood lost and showed Pakistan its place — without pushing the country into a full-scale war. War is devastating for all — even for the victor. But through wise decisions and unmatched courage, Prime Minister Modi and our forces achieved what was necessary, without unnecessary destruction.

When someone else’s house burns, the world turns away. But when it’s your own house, then you feel the fire. That’s why we must value the precision, preparation, and success of missions like Operation Sindoor. Even the media played a commendable role in supporting national morale. During war, even internal civil strife can erupt — it becomes difficult for even the police to maintain full control. But after the Pahalgam attack on April 22, coordinated responses were launched across local, state, and central levels. Every move was strategic, and Pakistan’s plans failed — militarily and diplomatically.

Unity of the nation means every citizen — regardless of religion, caste, class, or wealth — stands loyal to the country. When the central government is crushing enemies, we must protect our harmony at home and work in the national interest.

Today’s India is strong. While the country slept, over 400–500 missiles were launched from across the Radcliffe Line — all of which were intercepted mid-air by our advanced air defense systems. The preparation done in peace time paid off during war time.

Instead of pointing fingers at the government or media, we must express gratitude. To our soldiers. To our leaders. To everyone who stands to protect Bharat.
