Something I’ve been chewing on for a while: the gospel is not just Jesus forgiving sinful people while leaving their nature untouched… it’s Him FUNDAMENTALLY transforming who they are.
In salvation, God doesn’t just SEE me differently... something about me actually BECAME different, and it’s THIS new nature in Christ that empowers me to walk in freedom, not my own effort!!!!!
