So recently a lot of people have been asking how I have so much motivation or how do I keep making these commissions every day, well the truth is, to get motivation you actually have to put the action in first. You need action to develop motivation. Ik it’s hard to actually start making a puppet sometimes bc you feel like you don’t want to, but just try to pick up a pencil and start designing. Who knows, you may create the next fan favorite puppet! For me when I start designing a puppet, after a few minutes I start to get into the flow state and everything just disappears, like it’s just me and my artwork. Ik it sounds kind of corny but just try it. To have motivation you need to put the action in. It doesn’t just pop out of nowhere.

(Ok but if you’re hating every step of the puppet process and you feel like making puppets is a chore, maybe puppeteering is not your thing! Or take a break and try again in a while!)
