UNICORN GUNDAM sa Odaiba, Tatanggalin na This August 2026 🇯🇵

After almost 9 years na naging isa sa pinaka-iconic spots sa Odaiba, officially nang tatanggalin ang life-sized Unicorn Gundam sa DiverCity Tokyo Plaza by the end of August 2026.

Standing at almost 20 meters tall, naging must-visit talaga siya for Gundam fans and tourists since 2017 dahil sa iconic nitong Unicorn-to-Destroy Mode transformation at solid na nighttime light show. Hanggang ngayon, wala pa ring official reason si Bandai kung bakit ito ire-remove kahit dagsa pa rin ang visitors everyday.

Mas lalong nakaka-sad kasi once mawala ang Unicorn Gundam, first time in almost 20 years na mawawalan ng life-sized Gundam statue ang Tokyo.

May teaser naman si Bandai about a possible replacement called the “Gundam Landmark Concept,” pero wala pang official details na nire-release so far. Before ito tuluyang mawala, lalagyan muna yung statue ng special farewell decals at magkakaroon din ng goodbye events soon.

So if matagal mo nang nasa bucket list makita yung Unicorn Gundam sa Tokyo… ito na talaga yung last chance mo para makita siya in person. 😔
