I couldn’t see it in my playlist so I checked YouTube studio and the original song was blocked in US regions even though I can watch the original music video here and other people’s videos with it. I don’t know man 💔

I always told myself I would never make this statement, but I think I need to now, after so long of putting it off. don’t worry btw, it’s a lot less serious than I made it sound just then lol.
Aside from some the many, MANY MEP parts I still need to finish because I’ve already committed to them and reserved parts, I want to focus a bit more on actually drawn animation content over gacha.
Before anyone can get the wrong idea, I have no hard feelings against gacha, nor do I believe anyone is at all lesser of a creator by using it. If you’re using your talent to create wonderful content with your passion, that’s a beautiful thing regardless of whatever medium you’re doing it in.
However, it’s been extremely hard as an animator to use it with the stigma around it from years of misuse by the bad side of the community. A long time ago, that never really bothered me because I would always remind myself I’m one of the good creators, that the “bad” side was only a small percentage that had unfortunately corrupted our entire reputation. It’s just been harder as more and more people in my own life inadvertently find out about my content and are clearly averted to it just because of the gacha stuff. It’s dumb, but it’s just the reality of how people see the community most of the time. It’s made me hate my own work that I had previously been proud of, which hasn’t helped my usual lack of confidence and feeling of unworthiness and inferiority in my animation skills despite the endless praise and love my fans give me.
On top of that, making drawn animations gives me a lot more of a feeling of accomplishment, especially since I rarely do it. I still feel a bit insecure about my art style, but it makes me a lot happier than my gacha style, which ends up looking a lot less refined and stylized compared to others in the community at times. Genuinely, I envy some of your styles because you guys are genuinely so talented in this app.
With all that being said, I don’t intend on fully quitting gacha. I just want to do more drawn stuff, at the very least make it 50/50 between gacha and drawn stuff.
No matter how my content style shifts, please know I’ll never stop supporting you guys. This community has built me, raised me since I started my channel when I was 12. None of this is to devalue gacha. It’s a wonderful form of content that has brought so many of us together- I’ve just gotten a bit tired of it after using it so often. It’s kind of burnt me out.
Gacha creators are some of the most talented people I’ve seen here online, and if that’s the form of content you like making the most, PLEASE keep doing it. Don’t let others try and dictate what you make, because the opinions of hateful people on the internet matter the least. Do what makes you happiest, because that’s the whole point of this- to have fun.
Sorry for ranting, just wanted to make sure I fully explained my feelings, especially since I don’t want anyone to feel bad as gacha creators. I promise I’m not saying gacha’s the problem, it’s absolutely not. This is purely a matter of my own preferences shifting. I just wanted to make this since probably 90% or more of my audience has come for the gacha content.
