I wonder... what if you could share what's on your mind and your heart, and heal together with other people? What if this was normal?
We suffer. We grieve. We withhold our pain, the grief of losing our language, because there hasn't been (and there isn't, in most places) the space in society to make it be heard and for people to listen to it yet, but it could be different. You don't have to do it in secret if you don't want to. I would love to hear your story and what you keep inside of you. What makes you suffer about the situation of your language? There is a lot of healing available just by listening.

Trabajar de forma terapéutica con el malestar y con las preocupaciones de las personas que tienen una lengua amenazada, minorizada o indígena es muy beneficioso para su salud.
Una lista de los posibles beneficios - apartado 1- el de la esfera mental e intelectual que compartí en el congreso Vulnerom el 20 de junio 2025 en Uviéu (Asturias, España). Faltan los beneficios relativos a la esfera 2) emocional: Sentirnos entendidos y vistos, y la esfera 3) beneficios en la actitud y comportamiento lingüístico. En el fondo todos están entrelazados! Why do I bother to create retreats, to help people heal, to HEAL even WHAT?

No matter the distance, I am sure there is one person in the world who has the same wound as me.



A wound that contains worlds in it. Worlds of personal stories, of precious meaning, of sensitivity, of care, of unmet needs, of justice, of reverence, and full of love as well. Wounds can contain all of this encrypted in them.



Language wounds are taboo, and we are not used to talk about grieving our languages -especially minoritised & indigenous languages, but not only. I can be grieving not having enough people to speak Occitan, fearing my mother tongue Catalan will not be spoken in the future - will it die? You might be missing - which is also a form of grief - your father tongue, Bengali, because you moved to the USA and you can't speak it with anyone.



Language wounds are something that hardly ever we can put words to. But doing so is healing. Naming what shape this has in our life is very cathartic. I have put words to it in poems of mine, but I almost never share them. I am scared people wouldn't understand. And I crave understanding... that is why, even if I could just touch one soul,
even if I can accompany just one person in the world with a wound in the exact shape of my words, this project will be worth it.

Hola! Com esteu? Com va la tardor? Jo estic recordant el retir lingüístic de l'any passat, fet al desembre. Es va dir "Alquímia. Amor i dolor de llengua", i el vam celebrar a Isana Macrobiòtica, Segura (Tarragona, Catalunya). Em va encantar compartir en un grup tan petit. Només érem 3! Comparteixo algunes fotos del retir amb vosaltres. Els moments que més se m'han quedat gravats: natura i passejades, rituals, moments de relax, moments de lectura, la cuina.
