What’s it like to grow up? It’s seems like a question we should all be able to answer, but the answer isn’t simple. Because there isn’t just one.
In my next video, I look at three of the most interesting portrayals of growing up on film: The Florida Project, Moonlight, and Boyhood. Each follows the life of a very different kid, shaped by their own unique circumstances. But together, they offer a moving and powerful reflection on what it really means to grow up.
