One thing I’ve realized is that no one has a monopoly on ideas. Just because something popped into your head doesn’t mean someone else isn’t thinking that exact same thing too.
And while you’re still analyzing, processing and maybe even stalling, there’s someone somewhere already implementing. The funny part? You’ll come online and see not one, not two but multiple people executing different aspects of the very thoughts you’ve been nursing.
Honestly… God, abeg.
Moral of this post ?
Stop sitting on your ideas. Move. Start. Even if it’s not perfect yet. Start small, grow big. In the long run, execution will always beat overthinking.
The truth is, even I, the writer, am still learning this lesson.

Dear Man🤍
Each time I see any post stressing that men are not loved except they have something to offer, It makes me feel somehow.
Then, the fact that most men buy this narrative is something that pains me. Okay, yeah! I understand that the man is a provider, he is to protect and all of those but men are humans too and they deserved to be loved firstly as HUMANS.
I know a man is also wired to think that way but hey bro! calm down and be ready to receive some loving too.🥺
I genuinely reach out to my brothers occasionally to see how they are faring and just to show them they have a sister that won't stop loving them regardless of what the world thinks and sometimes the question I get is "what do you want?"
I want you.
I want to hear how your day went.
I want you to know you are loved.
I want you to know that I respect you a lot and I want the best for you.
I want you to see me as a friend and pal and not a baby sis you cannot talk too.
I want you to see and know that you have me.
I know you are trying so hard.
I know.
Regardless of whatever you can give or not give, I want you to know that I love you genuinely. The people around you do too.
You are not a dispensing machine, you are a human with blood running in your veins. A human with feelings, emotions and desires. A human with needs. I know you want everything to be fine and you are overwhelmed but the society screams "You are a man, chest it! Figure it out alone".
Hey man, you are human first, a being in relation to others. I see how much you are trying, facing it all. We see it and we love you. Your sisters love you, Your family loves you, Your friends love you. You are surrounded by love. WE LOVE YOU.
I love you. I really love you more than I can put into words. So, when next the urge to chest it alone comes, chest it out instead. I dey for you. We dey for you. Together, God dey for us.

Just because LOVE IS IN THE HAIR! 😍
During a discussion with a couple of friends, I expressed how I would love to use human hair for my next photo shoot. Not borrowed or rented (I learnt this is a thing) but MINE and I wanted it be 100%. So, I started checking the pages of different hair vendors to have a mental note of the price range.
The price range staring at me had to just be in my mental note because my actual mint note cannot enable me to be able to have it at the moment. 😂
So, I started checking out hair blends because as some say 'when the desired is not available, the available becomes the desired'. I saw some hair blend that I could afford at the moment but I wasn't feeling them as I wanted something of at least 70% human hair.
At this point, the available didn't become my desire because I knew what I wanted and it's not what is available.😩 My account balance sef follow join as it was temporarily unavailable for my desires too. Eiiii! God. How we go run am like this?
Then, suddenly my eyes were enlightened. Ah! Ruth you have been sleeping on gold. Ji! Wake up.

How come I just realized that what I have been looking for as far as Sokoto was already inside my sokoto. Like, what I've been waiting for has actually been with me all these while.
I was busy worrying about something lesser than I already had. I had the authentic and unadulterated but still I was looking for a copy.
I already had my desires! A 100% human hair. Black! Unadulterated! Natural! Mine! All Mine! And to cap it all custom made for me by God. Eiii!
To note that I already had it without spending a kobo from my bank account.
Just like that, my desire was available and the available was my absolute desire. I would not have loved it this much if it happened another way. Feeling fly in my God given crown. 😍
