We are Matti and Stina and we live year-round in Jokkmokk, North of the Arctic Circle in Swedish Lapland with a bunch of Siberian Huskies and 2 Border collies.
We run Jokkmokkguiderna which is a small lifestyle company (the two of us and our dogs) that offers guided outdoor tours. During winter we mostly run dog sled tours and summertime it's canoe, hiking tours and wildlife safaris.
Since the Corona pandemic hit us all in spring 2020 we´ve started to post videos more frequently here on YouTube to try to share our life, knowledge and somehow move the adventure to you instead of your physical self to the adventure.
We really like to share our life and experiences with you all but it takes a lot of time to produce videos.

The puppies are growing. Now they have reached the age of six weeks. The energy level has also increased greatly as the amount of pee comes from them. At the same time, we had a warm period in Jokkmokk. All this together made the decision that it was time to move out to the kennel. Now they spend most of their time outside together with their mam, Ida. We bring them inside regularly ut most of the time it's enough with one or two at a time. It's also good to get some quality time with them. As a pack, it's more about saving things from getting destroyed by their teeth and cleaning up pee.
The names of the two guys are:
Odin (two blue eyes/picture 1)
Olle (one blue and one brown eye and dark nose/picture 3)
The three girls are:
Orio (the dark-nosed girl /picture 2)
Ockra (two brown eyes and a little bit white on the nose/picture 4)
Otti (the smallest of them all, a white sting on the forehead/and one blue eye or maybe 1 and a half.../picture 5)

Still alive!
Right now I’m spending my life on the trail with guests. Today I have been out 22 days since I left home. It’s the third tour and in two days we will hopefully reach back to the kennel. I’m filming a lot and now I just need some time to edit the material.
Until today everything worked out well. Of course things happened along the trail but that’s just a part of the journey. Here is some pictures from the last weeks.
1: I’m crossing over the mountains with my dogteam.
2: Skierfe after some clouds are clearing up.
3: The small cabin in Saltoluokta that’s our base between the different tours.
4: My team from behind. The free runner is Annie who have been with me on some of the tours.
5: My team is waiting for the start command before taking off.
I hope I will be able to edit some material during the next week when I am back home for some days.

Have you seen that we have started to use the Nortent Gamme 6PC with a Winnerwell titanium stove? In our latest video we make a review of this tent after that we have used it for one season.
We are also editing next video that soon will be released (in a couple of days hopefully). That’s a video from a dogsled tour last winter where we used this tent.

Why this post...
During the last weeks, we have stepped from 13,000 subscribers to almost 18,000 subscribers. Behind each of these numbers, there exists a person. It's you!
One of the videos has almost reached 300,000 views... You know... We live in Norrbotten. That's the most northern part of Sweden. Norrbotten covers 20-25% (or something) of the whole of Sweden and we are only around 250,000 persons living here. So 300,000 viewers are more people than it actually lives up her...
We are Stina and Matti. We live in Jokkmokk, just above the Arctic Circle in Swedish Lapland, with our 50 dogs. Outdoor life, dog mushing, and guided tours/expeditions are how we make our living. You find older videos where we talk a little bit more about that.
If there is something you wish that we could make videos about, just let us know. Write it in the comments and don't give up. If we don't answer the first time... we were maybe in the woods and missed it. Then comment again. It can be ideas for reviews, how-to videos, or documentaries about our life or business, feel free.
