Hi guys, there is no new video today as I've been very busy this weekend working on some orders, not to worry though, I am working on a new video that will be uploaded on Wednesday.

In the mean time, you can catch up on other videos on the channel and also check out my etsy store (remijunaidapparel.etsy.com) where you can order ankara prints for that outfit you've been meaning to make.

This project taught me not to judge too quickly.

Before I finished this dress, I honestly thought I wasn't going to like it, I felt I chose the wrong fabric for the style, then I felt like the colour just didn't suit me, but I had started it abi, so I had no choice but to finish it. Well once it was completed, I fell in love with it.

Detailed tutorial is up on the channel. Click https://youtu.be/ROTXIh-pvJ0 to watch

Join me this Saturday at 3:00pm (GMT) and 4:00pm (Nigerian time) for a live sew with me.

I will be making the famous infinity dress, it is amazing because it is like having 100 dresses in 1 as you can wear it in different ways. You need about 3 meters of traffic (stretchy or non stretchy medium weight fabric works fine) and the will to sew. I will be answering all your questions and I can't wait to do this with you guys. https://youtu.be/Rq9VPLTs3JQ

Hi guys, Have you experienced gapping in cut-out necklines or armholes? It just doesn't fit well and you are wondering why? well it is because your basic pattern is drafted with a considerable amount of ease and with certain styles, you need to reduce the pattern within its frame to fit better.

So today, we will be talking about contouring

There are 7 contour guidelines and they work to eliminate gapping in cut-out necklines, cut-out armholes, strapless designs, empire style lines and styles that show the cleavage.

Once you master the art of contouring, you really step-up your pattern drafting game. If you'll like to see these contour guidelines and how to use them, click below to watch detailed video

Learn how to make this peplum top with balloon sleeves in the new video. it is detailed, beginner friendly and from scratch, you don't even need a pattern, all you need is 3 yards of fabric (or less if your fabric width is 60inches). I also show you the trick I use to prevent the zipper bulge you sometimes get in fitted garments. Click https://youtu.be/BogmzekYD_w to get started

I am in love with this satin-lined Ankara Bonnet Headwrap, It is my go to now when I have to run to the store and don't have the time or strength to make my natural hair bun look more presentable (I love my hair but it is a lot of work sometimes)

It is very easy, quick to make and definitely beginner friendly. Click https://youtu.be/wCPXh_vusyA to watch detailed video tutorial if you are yet to see it.

It is also available on my etsy store (remijunaidapparel.etsy.com) for people that want one but don't want to make it themselves.
