We represent BLHeli AS. The purpose of this letter is to inform you about an important development concerning the supply of BLHeli_32 licenses. We regret to inform you that, after careful consideration, BLHeli AS has decided to wind down its business operations. Effective from today, they will no longer be able to provide further supply or support for the BLHeli_32 software to any customers. This decision has been driven by the increasingly complex geopolitical landscape and the associated risks of BLHeli_32 being utilized in drones for warfare, including potential use by Russia. Norway has imposed very strict export control regulations based on the European Union's legal framework. The BLHeli_32 technology is particularly vulnerable to these export control restrictions and prohibitions. Moreover, without concrete information on the end-use of their software, there is a significant risk that the end-user could be directly or indirectly subject to sanctions. Financial institutions, including BLHeli AS's bank, are also heightening their focus on sanctions risks and are imposing stringent compliance obligations on their clients. Unfortunately, these are measures that are not practically possible for BLHeli to comply with. Random video signal loss with the latest firmware update. For now with goggles 3 and O3 but it seems there are other cases too!
