This year is a BIG change for me — after 11 years teaching in public school, I’m teaching at a new private Christian school, diving into brand new chemistry content, and stepping into a classroom that comes with a whole lot of history.
I’ll be sharing this space with another chemistry teacher, and the previous AP Chemistry teacher who recently retired left behind everything… and I mean EVERYTHING 😳
So this is the starting point:
➡️ A room full of materials, equipment, and years of buildup
➡️ A shared classroom that needs to function for multiple teachers
➡️ And a vision to turn it into an organized, engaging, student-friendly space
This is going to be a journey — from sorting through supplies, organizing the lab, and redesigning the space to fit my teaching style… all while adjusting to a new school and new curriculum.
