PREPARE NOW FOR THIS WEEKEND | A MAJOR ICE EVENT FORECAST FOR THE SOUTHEAST
❄️ Cover outdoor exposed pipes
❄️ Leave a pencil thin trickle of water from your faucets
❄️ Bring your pets inside
❄️ Bring potted plants inside
❄️ Cover larger plants with fabric, not plastic
❄️ Check on the elderly
❄️ Have an emergency kit, flashlight, extra batteries
❄️ Have nonperishable foods in your pantry/have a non-electrical can opener
❄️ Water - about 1 gallon per person per day
❄️ Charge everything-phones, tablets, computers
❄️ Keep fridges and freezers doors closed as much as possible
❄️ Fill cars with gas, power is off/pumps won't work
❄️ Place ziplock bags over car mirrors
❄️ Have salt, ice melt, sand, or cat litter for traction on walkways
❄️ Stay off the roads

HI Beautiful People! I need your input!!! How much would you pay for land in a rural African American historical community? Two acres of level land, infrastructure in place, several water lines and an old septic system. It was a family compound. It's near a track, but not too close. It's somewhat wooded in the back. Lots of privacy.
think it would be a great property for a homestead. I would live on it , but I have some health problems. There was a cow pasture and a hog pen on the land at one time. It's probably about 10 to 15 minutes from Walmart, Publix and stores like that. It's zoned for two of the best schools in Greenwood, SC. I know because I am a former teacher. It's probably about 20-30 minutes from Lake Greenwood. It's a quiet community. It could be your next home! There are several churches in the community as well as a store.
