So apparently in WWE 2K25 it's not possible to do an all-CAW Royal Rumble. I'm finding this out the hard way trying to record this year's Rumble for the upcoming North Pole Riot event. I'm not really sure what to do, as I can't really imagine skipping the Rumble of all things. I can't help but feel like updating to the latest game really was a mistake. If there's no Rumble this year you'll know why, but I'll keep trying to find a way to make it work!
Today we wrapped up our tenth Coast to Coast event, and as such have now hit ten years of UDW! To celebrate, the next ten matches I upload will be a special look back at UDW's past, where I'll provide "commentary" and discuss the history of the channel. The audio on these might be a bit rough, but please bear with me.
After these ten matches have posted, however, the channel will go quiet for a while. It's going to take me some time to get a 2K23 game that's ready for uploads, so we'll take a couple months' break while I do that. This will move our season change on the calendar for future seasons, which should make it easier for me to handle the new standard release date for WWE games moving forward.
I just wanted to make a small post letting everyone know that I don't plan to upgrade my roster to 2K22. I put a lot of thought into it, and I just don't feel like the timing lines up well. In the past, new games came out around Christmas and I had several months to create all the arenas/championships/wrestlers I needed before the time I'd want to switch (right after Coast to Coast), but with how things worked out this year I would have only two weeks to do that. That's just not something I have the time or energy for, and I'm still happy with 2K19. Maybe somewhere down the line I can do something with 2K22, or maybe the next game will come out at a more convenient time, but for now I'm planning to just stick with 2K19 for my videos. I hope you all will understand.
