I believe in the transformative power of books and community.
Someone recently joined our book club and after their very first meeting, sent me a DM and told me about how they didn't know what to expect from an online book club, but it was everything they didn't even know they needed.
They told me that the community came just at the right time after a really tough moment in their personal life.
Messages like that remind me that what we're doing here is important and it matters, which is easy to lose sight of in the endless sea of social media.
