I used to compare myself with everyone.
Someone earned more.
Someone got promoted faster.
Someone had a bigger audience.
It was exhausting.
Then I realized...
Everyone is running a different race.
> Different starting points.
> Different struggles.
> Different timelines.
The only comparison that matters...
Is whether you're better than you were yesterday.
Focus on progress.
Not comparison.
Life becomes much lighter.

I clicked "Post."
And it changed my life.
Not because the post went viral.
But because it changed who I was becoming.
I became more confident sharing my thoughts.
I started building meaningful connections.
I learned that consistency beats perfection
I discovered opportunities that my resume alone could never bring.
Every post taught me something.
How to communicate
How to handle criticism.
How to keep showing up even when nobody was watching.
Looking back, LinkedIn gave me much more than followers.
It gave me confidence.
A personal brand.
An incredible community.
And opportunities I never imagined.
The biggest lesson

The Reality for 99% IT Professionals in 2026...
1. Wake up around 6–7 AM.
2. Leave for work by 8–8:30 AM.
3. Arrive at the office around 9–9:30 AM.
4. Spend the entire day working until 6–6:30 PM.
5. Get back home by 7:30–8 PM.
6. Have dinner.
7. Log in again for late-night office meetings around 9:30–10 PM.
8. Finish pending work or calls close to midnight.
9. Go to bed around 12:30–1 AM.
10. Wake up the next day and do it all over again.
For many people, the situation is even tougher. Long traffic jams, extended working hours, and weekends spent catching up on work have become a normal part of life.
Very little time for fitness.
Very little time for loved ones.
Personal interests and hobbies slowly take a back seat.
Yet walking away from the job isn't easy because responsibilities, EMIs, and lifestyle commitments continue to grow.
The biggest reward seems to be a higher paycheck.
But the surprising part is that most people never stop to ask themselves how much money is actually enough.
And one day, after sitting down and doing the numbers, I realized that this race never truly ends. 🙏
