So what exactly is the idea behind the Test Automation SDK?
It is actually quite simple: one unified Python interface that abstracts platform APIs and works well with AI supported test development.
Rather than adding just another tool, the focus is on reducing the effort needed to move tests between software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.

The Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) does not target specific industries, but rather products with digital elements. If a product contains software, connectivity, or a digital interface, it likely falls within the scope of the law.
Example: A water filter becomes a security risk the moment it connects to an app via Bluetooth. The same applies to smart light bulbs, connected coffee makers, or digitally enhanced industrial components.
