Thanks everyone for all the positive words about the Yakuzawave album. It genuinely means a lot to me.

The truth is, I’ve been pretty burnt out these past few years — not just creatively, but with the 'vaporwave' scene in general. I’ve spent a long time trying to build this label and community into something meaningful, and honestly a lot of the time it’s felt like a thankless job. But seeing the response this album has gotten, and reading through the comments and messages — especially on YouTube — has given me a bit of hope again, not just for the label, but for my own music too.

I’m a guy who’s been involved in music scenes for almost three decades now, and I’ve poured pretty much everything I have into that world. So hearing that this album connected with people the way it did really hit me harder than I expected. It reminded me there’s still value in what I do after all.
