π Can you really grow sweet potatoes in the UK? Yes β but only if you sort the soil temperature first. This black bag trick warmed our raised beds. Plus β sweetcorn planting at 6:42. Your pollination rate will thank you. New video π

What if I told you that "succession planting" sounds far more complicated than it actually is? π€
I've been calling it something else for years β monthly sowings. That's all it is.
In my latest video I break it down into just 3 pillars. Get these right and you'll never face a hungry gap again:
β Healthy soil
β Timing
β The right varieties
Whether you're brand new to growing or you've been at it for years, this one's for you.
π Watch it here: https://youtu.be/CO9htRynD3M
Drop a comment and tell me β are YOU succession planting already without realising it? π±

What if I told you that you never have to go through that frustrating gap again β that period in summer when you've eaten everything and there's nothing ready to harvest? That's exactly what this week's video is all about. π±Succession planting is one of the most powerful techniques we use here at No Dig Norfolk. It's not complicated β but most gardeners miss a few key windows that make all the difference. π Watch it here and let me know in the comments β what's the one crop you always seem to run out of? I read every single one. Thank you! https://youtu.be/qCn1LwAJsWY

π NEW VIDEO β and it's a time-sensitive one!
If you haven't sown your tomatoes yet β don't panic. But don't leave it much longer
either. Mid-April is about the last point where you can still get a decent harvest
without specialist equipment.
We grew Β£450 worth of tomatoes from just 30 plants last season. In tonight's video
I'll show you exactly how β from sowing to harvest, in plain English.
π Watch it here: https://youtu.be/0ShAFprZiQY
Have you sown yours yet? Let me know below! π±

The chickens have been BUSY. π
Doing what they do best β scratching, pecking, and honestly, working harder than most of us did over winter . Today's new video is up β and it's a big one. The garden has had a serious transformation this spring. New beds. Relocated raspberries. 400 onions planted. A brand new wildlife spot where a diseased plum tree once stood. And the greenhouse? Never looked better β thanks entirely to the chickens.
No chemicals. No machinery. Just very motivated hens. π±
