The visit provided a valuable opportunity to explore concrete paths for strengthening bilateral cooperation, grounded in our shared NATO and EU membership, as well as common interests and values.
Ambassador Hovorka shared thoughtful reflections on the vital role that “smaller but committed” allies play in today’s shifting geopolitical environment. He underlined the importance of reinforcing national industrial ecosystems, boosting interoperability, and standing united in support of partners such as Ukraine.
As the Ambassador aptly noted: “Our countries must not only produce – we must design and innovate together.”
We couldn’t agree more.
DOK-ING remains dedicated to building smart, strategic, and trusted partnerships, from Croatia to the Czech Republic and beyond.
Last week, we had the honour of welcoming H.E. Mrs. Asma Naji H.S. Al-Amri, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Croatia, along with members of the Qatari Embassy, including First Secretary Mr. Ahmed Ali M.M. Al-Kubaisi.
The visit served as a valuable platform to exchange common goals in the field of defence — advancing regional security through technologies that meet international defence standards.

@DOKINGltd supported the efforts of the EU and Ukraine toward the recovery and long-term reconstruction of war-torn Ukraine by participating in the fourth Ukraine Recovery Conference, held on July 10–11, 2025, in Rome, Italy. This fourth edition of URC2025 reflected the Lugano Principles, including a “whole-of-society” approach to recovery through the meaningful participation of a broad range of stakeholders—from governments, international organizations, financial institutions, businesses, regions, municipalities, and civil society—united by a shared commitment to strengthening Ukraine’s resilience for as long as needed.
At this paramount platform, a total of 15 heads of state and government supported this important cause, including the President of the European Commission, Ms. Ursula von der Leyen; President of Ukraine, Mr. Volodymyr Zelensky; First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Ms. Yulia Svyrydenko; Prime Minister of Italy, Ms. Giorgia Meloni; Chancellor of Germany, Mr. Friedrich Merz; and many others endorsing private business joint ventures, production localization, and technology. Croatia joined in support, with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia, Mr. Grlić Radman, participating in the panel „Ukraine’s path to the EU: Achievements, Challenges, and the Road Ahead“, where he reaffirmed Croatia’s enduring support for Ukraine’s reconstruction and its European journey. The minister emphasized that Croatia has already provided €315 million in aid to Ukraine, including humanitarian, development, and demining assistance. As a proud example of Croatian production and aid in demining of Ukraine, we are honored to have been invited to participate in this important conference. During these two days, we connected with local and regional actors on ongoing crosscutting issues and shared our long-lasting experience in mechanical demining, innovations in resilience and security, and green recovery, as well as common points for business and government to ensure the reconstruction of infrastructure and communities.
We also witnessed nearly 200 signed agreements and memorandums, including a Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) signed on July 10 by Ukraine’s State Special Transport Service (SSTS) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, North Atlantic Division (USACE NAD), establishing a framework for long-term collaboration in infrastructure development.
What an incredible day yesterday.
A day filled with true unity in every sense. From envisioning what a secure Europe looks like, to discussing how to strengthen and advance the joint defence industry to a more self-sufficient and resilient Europe.
A heartfelt thank you to the Estonian Prime Minister Kristen Michal for concluding his official three-day visit with an official visit to @DOKINGltd, a company whose systems, technologies, and innovation lay the foundation for an effective and strong European defence.
We are sincerely grateful to the entire high-level delegation, from government officials and state institutions to leading Estonian tech companies, for their visit and interest in DOK-ING. The composition of this delegation clearly demonstrates that effective national defence and technological excellence are achievable only through a close partnership between the public and private sectors.
As the Prime Minister Michal emphasised:
"The similarity between Croatia and Estonia is quite clear; we are both small countries competing on a global stage, capable of winning only through innovation, research and development, and we must work smarter to stay competitive. This is exactly the case with DOK-ING."
Thank you, Prime Minister Kristen Michal, and all the members of the delegation, including: Lendurai, Meridein Grupp OÜ, Threod Systems, TrackDeep, Skinest Rail, DefSecIntel Solutions, Vegvisir and the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, for recognising DOK-ING’s pivotal role and for your interest in deepening cooperation between our two countries.
This is just the beginning.
Open minds and eager ears gathered in the Electric Mine conference room, drawn to DOK-ING Mining’s presentation on our latest advancements in underground mining. Tom Sertić, Managing Director of DOK-ING Africa, presented the use cases of successful mechanisation of narrow reef mines by utilising our fully electric robotic fleet, the NRE. "Supported by our partners Anglo American Platinum and ARM (@AfricanRainbowMinerals), we have shown how innovation can deliver better efficiency and lower the cost of production. Using electric machines is not only green and environmentally friendly but also unlocks technical limitations and enables improved safety and efficiency," said Mr Sertić.
The electric atmosphere was just impossible to resist, and we're just getting stating! Stay tuned 🚀
DOK-ING is already attracting more than 1,000 top policymakers, industry leaders, investors, and innovators in the underground mining sector to its booth during today's Investor Day, held under the patronage of the EIT RawMaterials Summit 2025.
Securing critical raw materials (CRMs) is fundamental to achieving climate goals, ensuring security and strategic autonomy, and sustaining industrial competitiveness. Our Narrow Reef Equipment (NRE) fleet is built precisely for that mission.
The NRE is a revolutionary system of remotely operated, electric mining machines designed for underground spaces just 90–170 cm high. It enables safe, mechanized excavation in ultra-narrow reefs—previously accessible only to humans—on inclines up to 25°. Ideal for operations like those in South Africa, it increases ore concentration and significantly reduces energy costs and the environmental impact of mining.
Today, on International Nurses Day, @DOKINGltd proudly honored the incredible dedication of nurses by donating an Emergency Stretcher Bed to Sestre milosrdnice University Hospital Center.

Nurses are the steady hands and compassionate presence that support patients during some of their most vulnerable moments. Their contributions are essential to the smooth functioning of every hospital and to the overall well-being of patients.
The bed was symbolically handed over by our founder and president, Mr. Vjekoslav Majetić, who emphasized how honored he was to contribute to easing the daily work of nurses. He encouraged everyone who is able to contribute to consider donating, as every gesture can make a significant impact on healthcare workers, patients, and society as a whole.
We hope this contribution will help ease daily workload of hospital staff and improve experience for both staff and patients.
To all nurses, thank you for every smile, effort and work you do unselfishly!
