Today is a very heavy day for me and my family… our sweet Lassie has passed away. 🕊️🐾

She wasn’t just a pet—she was our family dog, our companion, our comfort, and such a big part of our home. We got Lassie 10 years ago when we bought our first house. For my parents, who are immigrants from the Azores, Portugal, that moment meant everything. They had never had a dog growing up, so having their own home and finally welcoming a dog into their lives was something truly special.

My mom used to watch Lassie as a child and always said that when she had a dog of her own, she would name her Lassie… and she did. 🤍

Lassie had the most beautiful spirit—so alert, so gentle, so loving. Those big ears always listening, always watching over us. She had this quiet way of being present that made you feel safe, like she was always protecting her home and her people. She wasn’t just part of our lives—she was part of our everyday moments, our routines, our memories… truly part of the family.

I want to apologize in advance for my absence today and any delays with private readings. I’m taking this time to be with my family and honor her.

If you feel called, please keep my family in your prayers during this time. And please… give your fur babies an extra big hug and kiss tonight. You never realize how precious these moments are until they become memories.

Rest peacefully, Lassie. You will always be loved and never forgotten. 🐾✨
