❤️ Today is Gimbal Walk TV's Birthday!! 🎂❤️
I just realised that I first started Gimbal Walk TV on this day in 2020 so it's the channel's 6th birthday today!

What a ride it's been - with some amazing memories I've made!

I've met some incredible new friends, got a lovely community here on Facebook and had the absolute honour of making little videos in places all over the world from Cornwall to Scotland, from Wales to Norfolk and from Spain to Tutankhamun's Tomb in Egypt!

A few facts for you:

Current subscribers - 110,924
Number of videos on the channel - Over 1400
Number of views on the channel - 30 MILLION 😮

Most popular videon on the channel (For views) - Abbey Road, London (where I walk across the same crossing that The Beatles did)

The favourite place I've ever filmed - Well apart from the Tutankhamun Tomb in Egypt I have too many other favourite places and videos. I particularly liked the first video of Tenby in Wales, I liked the Llandudno video where I put happy soul music over it (I used to put music over my walks initially!).

I also really enjoyed more recent ones like Cheddar Gorge, pretty much all of my Cornwall videos, my recent Edinburgh video, and of course how can I forget Scarborough (too many fun videos there to mention!)

Plans for the channel moving forward?
I'm hoping to do more UK videos for sure but also love visiting new countries to see what they're like too. I might start doing the odd cruise ship video too - not sure yet!


Anyway - thank you for your support on the channel - that's the most important thing of all

Just to let you know a brand new series of videos started today as I showcase and take you around the Greek Island of Crete!

This is honestly one of the best places I’ve filmed and I’ve got my little video camera and a quad bike and I’m riding around from town to town, and resort to resort to film them all for you

Hi everyone,
Hope you're having a lovely weekend!

So I arrived back in the UK early this morning (3am) after a lonnnnng flight back from the Canary Islands (It was snowing when I finally got home!)

I've got such a busy week on this week with lots of meetings, filming a music video in Cardiff on Wednesday and lots of catching up with people I've not seen for a while

But then what should I do?

The UK weather shows no signs yet of springing into sunny life and I can't film in the rain, and don't like to film when it's looking gloomy and miserable

So what do I do?

Fly out elsewhere again?

I don't really want to have to do that as I'd much prefer to film the UK but looks like I might have no choice but to clear off again somewhere sunnier

Ideas/Thoughts welcome because right now I'm very undecided....
