Are you REALLY capable of change in 2023?

You'll see it every where,

"New Years Goals can't make real change"

But I'm a self confessed New Years Resolutioner, Goal Setter and what ever you want to name it.

10 years ago, I made it a goal to be a healthier version of me and invest in me.

8 years ago, I set a goal to be a personal trainer.

Last year I set a goal to invest in my OWN health and put me first and get Fitby30.

Without a deadline, a set goal and define method - you don't have a goal, you have a dream.

Yes, the odd might be against you - but that's where work comes in.

Chasing and achieving goals looks like all sunshine and rainbows but it's really dressed up in overalls and called hard work.

But with the right team, guidance you'll be able to avoid obsacles - because on the other side is satisfaction knowing that you have worked for something that means a lot to you.

So I challenge you, to take on something that you have been thinking about.

Maybe even look at what you set out last year, and HOW you can do it differently or sustainably.

Think about WHO you can ask and learn from for guidance.

Imagine what happens when you ACHIEVE your goal and becoming the person you've always wanted to be.

Bring on 2023.

I had just thought a calorie was a calorie.

And that I needed 3,000 of them a day, but what I did was stupid.

By spending $4.95 on a pizza from Dominos, I’d eat 2 of them a day.

I thought to myself and lied to myself that “it was the most bang for your buck calorie and bulking food”

Looking back, shit - that was wrong.

What resulted?

Just ended up getting fat.

But what’s the lesson learnt?

If you keep saying it, you’ll end up believing it.

So imagine when you keep telling yourself

“Oh, I’m just too old”

“I don’t work well under pressure”

You start digging yourself into a hole and believing that you can’t back yourself to hit your goals.

Then it starts to manifest and bleed into your everyday life, career and relationships.

I got myself out of that hole of thinking I knew everything by surrounding myself with educated people to talk with, learn and train.

I had to make sure I wasn’t self-limiting my knowledge and growth.

That’s what I aim to do with Momentum and make sure that people don’t make the same mistakes I did.

To open the community make sure that people don’t go eating 3 pizza’s a day thinking it was “just a bulking phase”

Long story short - got into a cut and realised I didn’t make any significant gains. Damn.
