Would you be interested in me rating your security post in a live stream? You could send me an anonymous description/link, and when I go live, I look over the location, duties, schedule, pay and give it a rating, anybody in the livestream chat could give their rating as well, maybe in real time via strawpoll or a similar platform. A McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, Wendy’s, or Waffle House sounds simple on paper… until you’re dealing with aggressive customers, teens acting up, people refusing to leave, workers asking you to step in, and everyone filming the moment things go sideways.
The weird part is the contradiction: restaurants want a security presence, but the second a guard goes hands-on, it can turn into a viral clip, a lawsuit, a lost contract, or a termination.

I built a prototype GuardGuides site for guards. Which feature would you actually use?
I’ve been revisiting the idea of a GuardGuides site/app, so instead of testing one feature at a time, I put together a rough prototype hub with multiple tools.
It currently includes:
state licensing lookup, powers/requirements by state, a job offer calculator, pay reality tool, quick guides, templates, and an hours/pay tracker.
I want honest feedback: which part would you actually use, and which part do you not care about?
