Misfortune struck again, a screw punctured my tyre. Marvelous!
The tyre didn't look very flat, only slightly, but still there was less than one bar air pressure. I once refilled the tyre with air, it held just one day, so it had to be repaired. I changed winter tyre in it's place to the car, and brought just the broken tyre to the tyre shop to be fixed.
Repair: 49 Euros including balancing.
But wait, there's more!
TPMS sensor had broken off too, so it was necessary to replace.
Price: 50 Euros, including coding.
Total monetary damage: 99 Euros, because of one screw. Blimey! Totally unnecessary cost, only because of bad luck.

This was the 3rd time in the 2000's my car suffered tyre damage. First time was when a nail went through the "corner" or front tyre in the 1990 Mazda 323. Two holes in one go.
Second time, the 2011 Suzuki Alto had mysterious leak in one front tyre, even tyre shop couldn't find the reason why it leaked.
And now this.

A retrogame find, Porsche Challenge for PS1. This is one game I've been looking for some time now. Twice the game slipped through my fingers, but now managed to get this Platinum version for 20 Euros, with manual and everything in good condition. There's just old price tag glue residue on the front cover, but might be able to clean it off.
Porshce Boxster seen in this game is one of the cars that were assembled here in Finland, and I've got even a 1/43 diecast model of this car, showing up in the photos :)

Gran Turismo inspired diecast model find, a Hotwheels '96 Dodge Viper in blue with white stripes, like in Gran Turismo :)
Previously found a yellow one with black stripes, but that colour combination is not in the game, so glad I found this blue - white version, which is there.
A winner car in the game, very fast, high top speed, but a bit difficult to handle in corners.

Tested the PS1 memorycard found from fleamarket.
In case someone is interested, it seems to work, and it was full of previous owners game saves, including two games I too have. Toca Touring Cars and Colin McRae 2.0. However, tried the Colin McRae 2.0 gamesave, the game appeared to find it from the memorycard, but still gave File Not Found error. Weird.

Anyway, I then deleted those old gamesaves to make room for my own gamesaves in the future. Hopefully it works, altough that strange behaviour with Colin McRae 2.0 makes me doubt it a bit.

Uh oh, PS2 gave Disc Read Error when I tried to play some Intellivision Lives! games 🤔
Sold my Mattel Intellivision console about 1,5 years ago, and thought I'll get to play Intellivision games from this PS2 game when ever I want. Doesn't seem to be so easy. This game is a CD game, and tried also DVD game (Sega Classics Collection) and DVD worked just fine.

Anyway, cleaned the disc, tried few times and it seems to work after all. Who knows how long it keeps working though.

I kept 3 original, physical Intellivision games even I sold the console. Auto Racing, Space Battle and Truckin' by Imagic.

I also find the documentary videos on the PS2 Intellivision Lives! game disc very interesting, great job Blue Sky Rangers for creating such an advanced videogame console for it's time 🙂

Originally, Intellivision was competing against Atari, but funnily enough, currently Atari owns Intellivision and released even a new retro, original looking Intellivision Sprint console! That's awesome! 🙂

Today's fleamarket find, a PS1 memorycard for 3,97 Euros. As my original memorycard is pretty much full, another memorycard would be useful, so more gamesaves could be made, and more games could be collected, played and save the progress.

So when I found this, probably aftermarket non-Sony "Blaze 1Mb" green see-through memorycard, decided to pick it up, especially with such a low price.
Always interesting if there's previous owners game saves there, or does it work at all. Well, there's a crack at the case which was hidden under the price tag, right on top of the chip, so let's see if it indeed even works at all in later post, or even a video if there is enough interest.

For Knight Rider fan, everything looks like KITT or other Knight Rider related thing 😎
Watched today a Finnish YLE extra news broadcast, and saw this thing in the background, which to me looks like KITT's front nose, scanner opening and right front corner seen behind some tree branches etc. stuff 😁
I don't know what it really is though, some reflection from somewhere probably.

Trying to replicate a diecast model car in videogame.
This time a Majorette Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34) in Forza Horizon 4 (and Forza Motorsport 7).

Majorette has painted this model in dark blue colour, altough they have also lighter blue version. The lighter blue version seems to be stock colour for Skyline, which can be found in the game "manufacturer colour selection" as well, but the diecast model in that colour has too toyish looking wheels imo, so that's why I chose the dark blue version. It has much more cool and realistic looking alloy wheels, again just my opinion.

So, first task, needed to custom paint the Skyline in the game. Decided the following values look pretty close to the diecast model:
- Hue: 0,72
- Saturation: 1,00
- Brightness: 0,22

Next, had to choose alloy wheels that looked more like the ones in Majorette diecast model. Ended up selecting Rotiform wheels. They have this Teal colour by default, so they had to be custom painted too. Unfortunately I took the screenshot only after I had repainted the wheels.
Chose the following values for the rims, basically made them slightly tinted greyscale colour.
- Hue: 0,00
- Saturation: 0,00
- Brightness: 0,85

Now the "digital copy" of the Majorette Skyline was basically finished 🙂
There's just one little detail difference, namely Majorette model doesn't have any licenseplate in the back, but in Forza Horizon 4, there is yellow UK style license plate. However, in Forza Motorsport 7 there is no license plate at all, so with this detail, the model is accurate to that game.

I also have Majorette Honda Civic Type-R with chrome rims. Should I do another post, or even a video about trying to replicate that one as well in videogames? Put it in the comments below, thanks 🙂
